Everything went well. The hosts were friendly and some English!

No lift

The staff was very friendly, the room was cosy, spacious, clean (with a balcony) and quiet. Our mattresses were on the hard side, but more comfortable than that of our friends which had a large dip in the middle.

Once we started using the bathroom, a very strong sewage smell came up from the shower's drain hole. The entire room smelled really bad. Thankfully the large balcony door helped with moving the smell out.

Very clean. Easy parking. Great breakfast!

Surprisingly great food and wine menu. Nice staff and by the river in a quiet village, good value.

Hot attic room, no aircon or fan, but the weather was particularly hot that week.

A super hotel in a lovely quiet rustic village not far from the motorway. The staff were great and friendly, as was the service and the hospitality. The food was good. we would definitely stay there again and recommend it for more than our one night stay. Definitely has a local village feel, with many locals using the hotel.

My wife is partially disabled and it would have been helpful, but not essential had such a room not been on the second floor, however, they arranged for a us to have a lovely family room on the first floor.

Very good location for exploring Freiburg. Our room was upgraded, thanks for this. Nice restaurant in the hotel but I would recommend thesteak house in the neighbouring village calledn Reute.

Difficult for elderly guest to get to third floor without lifts.

Beautiful and cozy family room and facilities in general and a delicious breakfast included. We really enjoyed the stay and can highly recommend this hotel!

We got a room with small area in bathroom difficult with two peopleWe also got only tolles for one and meededto ask for another one

This hotel is brilliant, we stayed here 5 years ago and it remains excellent. On arrival the staff were helpful and accommodating. The meal was delicious.

Lovely clean welcoming lovely dinner and breakfast . We say u def the huge umbrella outside for dinner. Superb.

No air con

Really can´t find anything!!

It took us 1 1/2 hour to get a room first room was occupied by a another guest!! how can it happen?? next room couldn´t get in lock was broken they managed to open the door but not possible to lock (had to sleep with a broken unlocked door, told owner to give us a discount but his answer was we got a 4-bed room and it was more expensive???We had been driving from south of France ruffly 1000km and get this treatment!!Worst of all check in was managed by the waiter who served in restaurant??We always stop in area of Freibourg and for sure there are other better hotels around!

Nice family hotel and friendly staff. The food is good in the restaurant. It was nice that the beds were large.

The bathroom had big spots of black mould on the ceiling. Also there were lots of stains on the carpet and furniture.

A place with identity,, everything was perfect. We even arrived a little bit after the restaurant close but we called the reception and the girl was so nice to make an order for us before they close and we were able to eat delicious typical food from that area.

Really nothing, it was a pity we stayed for only one night

It was a very cozy hotel, very friendly staff

We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and it was delicious, however, the food took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to our table, the kids were desperate.

Traditional Bavarian look. Friendly staff, Very comfortable, homely feeling. Fantastic breakfast. Owners very friendly and very approachable.

No soap in room.
