Tylos Beach Hotel

The lunch had local and very fresh food. Room was comfortable and adequate size. Breakfast was fine, simple with little choice. Marina close by.

Beds were not really comfortable.No beach towels.Service while not bad was average compared to other properties.Breakfast was not good and low quality compared to other properties.Dinner quality was also average.The value was not really good for what you get. The hotel clearly relies on the location with the beach access and targets a clientele of 70-80yo guests. The rating in googlemap is more in line with what you get compared with the rating on booking.com

Quiet and less touristy location. Super clean. Great breakfast and dinner. Private beach and sea view. Katina the owner is lovely and she is a fantastic hostess and cook of local cuisine

The hotel was recommend to us it suited our needs for walking and hiking the countryside, local amenities not to far.

Fridge did not work

As a family run hotel, staff will go out of its way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. They treat you with the well known Cyprus hospitality that is so rare nowadays.

As the hotel is very popular with locals and their families , foreigners may find Cypriots a bit loud and their children spoilt or lacking manners.

Peaceful place, great for rebooting and total relaxation, far away from crowds. Situated right on the beach, comfortable for kids.

Breakfast may be improved.

The staff were very friendly. Food was great and loads of it and service was brilliant. We were looked after well from start to finish.

The beds were great and breakfast had everything needed. The place was quietly located in the middle of a tidy village with a small beach. With a car there are further beach and hiking options within 30 minutes drive away. The beach, although small, is right in front of the terrace of the hotel and you can have breakfast watching boats going in and out around the harbour.

The village is small and offered two shops locally. You need a car to get there as it involves going through mountain roads from the south to avoid going across the border. It is quiet and would suit people wanting peace and not a busy place to holiday away from more touristed areas.

Not really nice and hard to communicate with the personnel. Food was also not very nice

The room was spotless, the location was excellent, the food was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful.

Didn't like the cats when we were eating.they jumped up onto the table and stole my food.

Nice and very supportive staff, perfect quiet location with sea view, perfect price for sea view and rooms recently renovated.

Breakfast is poor, but for this price it is ok (boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, bread, 4 types of cheese and some meat). Moreover, owner was very helpful and suggested us additional yogurt.

Location excellent, hotel is clean and you wouldn't expect more from a 2 star rated place. Really nice. The rating it has is only due to lack of extras like phone, tea coffee facilities, robes. But if you know that before you go it's not a problem

Very friendly, family owned hotel where owners are happy to cater to their guests' needs. Beds are comfortable, great sea views, generally a place to get away from everything but still be in touch with the world. I would recommend it all year round. The restaurant staff was fast and took care of us even when very busy. Thank you, Demetris, for your excellent service. The food was tasty and fresh. The breakfast was very satisfying too. The fridge door needs to stay open when not in use to avoid any smells. Other than that, everything was fine.

Clean and powerful shower and proximity to the beach. The staff were also very helpful

Amazing sea view, but our stay was uncomfortable because of:

1. The daughter of the owners in charge, had bad temper and manners. Arguing often in the presence of guests with her parents and staff.2. Upon checking in, she expressed disatisfaction for reserving the room not directly.3. Even from the minute we arrived, a bad smell because of overflowed sewarage was spreading around. 4. The room fridge not working.
