    Pros +

    • The breakfast was worth the price for the convenience of having it at the hotel. The location was perfect to go into town a short walk and also to go a short walk to the train station. Being up the hill from town made it especially convenient to walk with luggage to and from the train station. The area around the hotel was relatively quiet, even though it was on a busy street which was nice.
    • In all my years of traveling – and I’ve traveled a lot – I’ve never slept on a more comfortable bed and pillow.
    • Quiet place. Clean. Nice town view.Very friendly people. Good Breakfast.

    Cons -

    • The Wi-Fi signal needs improvement. The speed is excellent (when you're next to the router), but the signal is weak. Room No. 4.
    • No Elevator
    • No lift

Excellent value for money! I've stayed here a few times for work trips and the rooms were always very clean with comfy beds. The breakfast offer is great and the staff are very friendly 10/10

    No lift

Helpflul and flexible service. The room is well equipped and precisely cleaned.

The soundproofing of the windows is quite poor, I could hear the street noise and feel the air coming in. Nothing critical though. The mattress felt like back in the school trips. Good for one night but not recommended for longer stays.

Rooms are big, the bed is super comfortable and there is a nice size closet to use. The location is perfect as well

    Passable

Difficult to contact reception for check-in. Parking was essentially not available at the hotel. Hotel is located on a busy street with trains running on the far side of the street. The back side of the hotel might work better.

Michelle, the manager, is the best part of this property . She is extremely welcoming and accommodating and did her very best to make us comfortable .

As older people, the bathroom was very small and the room was small and very warm ( no a/c) . For someone younger or one person , it would be great . Next time I’d ask for a bigger room . Also no elevator but Michelle definitely offered to help us . I really didn’t like the smoking outside of building . I could smell it but I am very sensitive .

    excellent breakfast, and courteous staff

My bathroom had a moldy smell.

There was parkingThe bed was comfy

However not always needed but first night was terribly warm and could not sleep as a heat wave came through No fridge in room

Small walk to the historic town centre

It was to traditional for my liking, you could use the word old, not worn out but an aged building.

Delicious breakfast, cozy room and friendly staff.

    Breakfast was very expensive

    5AshleyPosted on: 12-29-2023

Quick walk to the old town center

Room was at the top of the stairs- heard everyone come and go. No parking.

    8EnriquePosted on: 12-14-2023

The size of the room, the comfort of the bed, and the location

    10IanPosted on: 9-1-2023

The hotel was located in a good position for accessing the town. The rooms are big. We didn't have breakfast, but there was a restaurant inside. You could purchase breakfast for 15 Euros per person. To walk into the town centre only takes 10 minutes, a lovely town with the river Murr. Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, Iand ce-cream parlours

The hotel doesn't have family rooms ,we had to book 2 Double rooms ,which goes a little over price for 1 night family stay.

    8EvgeniyaPosted on: 8-11-2023

Overall, it is a pleasant hotel. I stayed there twice. The room and bathroom were pretty clean. The location is good - close to the city center, not far from the railway station.

There is no air conditioning and it was hot on summer nights. The price seems a bit too high for a small city, but I couldn't find an appropriate alternative for me.
