About
Natur-Resort Tripsdrill provides a unique stay in wooden caravans that are in the style of shepherd wagons and treehouses. The heated accommodations has an outdoor seating area with views of the Swabian surroundings and the Michaelsberg Mountain. Caravans and treehouses include a refrigerator, dining area, and have a flat-screen TV. Bathroom facilities are shared, and bedding and towels are supplied. The treehouses also have a private bathroom. Guests can purchase discounted tickets to the on-site Tripsdrill Adventure Park and its Altweibermühle restaurant during the season from Easter until early November, and there is free entry to the wildlife park . Both sites are a 15-minute walk from the caravans. A daily breakfast is provided, and the Alpine-style restaurant is also open on Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays. There are barbecue facilities and the Altweibermühle Inn is located on the adventure park site. The A81 motorway is 9.3 mi away and free parking is available. Pros +
- Amazing stay in a beautiful and peaceful woodland Treehouse, one of the best on theme park stays I’ve experienced
- location was great.Nice to stay a day and after day a good breakfast and after breakfast direct access to wild zoo park
- Living in a tree house with animals around is exceptionally impressive. Clean small house with comfortable beds. Staff gave clear and useful advices. We visited in early August yet it was quite cool during November night. Mosquito nets are well-installed. No bugs problem even in the country side.
Cons -
- The restaurant where the breakfast is located is within the middle of the safari park and at least a 10-15 walk away from the accommodation so I didn’t bother having breakfast and it’s closed at night
- the tree homes were someplace not good cleaned. te bags are very bad quality to sleep . such nice and expensive place can improve theirs beds I assume and hope to see soon their improvement soon then ..
- Requires more spaces/set-up for lunch/dinner.
