Hotel Schenk

Great location for overnight stop on a road trip ample parking

Road noise, rooms at the back would have been better. Single rooms are compact

Great location near to main road, good choice of places to eat nearby. Clean room and bathroom.

Rooms close together with very limited soundproofing from other guests especially from the corridor through the door.Lighting not easy to control from bed

Bed was very comfortable, room was warm and spotlessly clean.

There were no negatives!

Quiet place good location, and very friendly staff and so much ready to accommodate us at my arrival time.Definitely I will choose again.

Clean & tidy Good for a 1 night stay Near the exit from the motorway .

Stale smell of smoke in the corridors.Key box after 2 pm Very Noisy people coming in & waking us up at 2am( that is not the owners fault ) Only 4 sheets of toilet paper .The pizza restaurant under the property is now derelict.Unable to make a hot drink when we arrived .

Straightforward, unfussy, clean,

No reception after 2, had to let myself in using a key accessible with a pin code, Spartan in feeling, terribly bad feather pillows,

Location

Pillows no volume, no nightstand on one side of the bed, small room compared to pictures, no soap to shower or wash

The rooms were clean and comfortable enough. There is a nice relaxed Italian restaurant and pizzeria next to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located for use as a travel stop.

We did not receive a PIN for the key safe before arriving so we had to phone the number on display at the hotel entrance to get our keys.

Checking in after allotted time. Quick phone call and we retrieved the keys.Needed an early start, but breakfast was still available by 6:30amCar park accommodated a vehicle with a very large boat trailer.

the fact that it was only one night.

Nice little, modern and clean hotel with safe parking. Just keep in mind that the reception is often unattended and you will need to call to get key/access code,

Nothing wrong with the hotel, but decent restaurants are rather scarce in the area

Good for the price/quality ratio. Ideally located near the highway. Easy access with key boxes.

Nothing special. Poor WiFi connection.

Sparkling clean, easy access, had everything we needed, parking.

The heating was turned off when we arrived. Took some time to reach a comfortable temperature.

breakfast was good the room was spacious and the beds comfortable ...the most covenient thing was rge excelent Itallian restaurants attached to the hotel

great location for stop off across Germany towards Austria. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Wonderful Italian restaurant Gianni’s adjoining this hotel with delicious food. Dog friendly.

We first stayed here 5 years ago and since then the property has been upgraded and modernised. The location is close enough to the motorway but quiet and easy to find. The key collection process is very good and easy to follow. The room was very clean, bright, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of on site parking

There are no facilities to make hot drinks. After a long journey and arriving late a hot drink would have been welcome but no facility to make one and after walking around the area we didn’t find anywhere to buy one.

The room is well decorated and Very clean ; location is convenient for us, people are very friendly.

Wonderful welcome and service.Room was very clean and had all that was needed.Breakfast Room pleasant, excellent buffet and wonderful friendly service. Parking on site, and outside shady place to relax.A/C would gave been useful given heat, but given the cost of room, probably not economical.I would recommend and return myself.

Location.

Sterile, noisy room near highway.

The place was immaculately clean and the key safe system was ideal. The staff member I met in the morning was extremely courteous and welcoming. It was located in a brilliant part of the town with great access to amenities and the town centre.

Having to leave.

Very nice and clean room! Delicious breakfast for small price, excellent overnight stop right next to the highway, we were very pleased!

When arriving, we were given the wrong code for the safe that contained the key to the door, there was one number wrong to the code we received, so we could not open the safe, quite stressful!! Please check the codes! :) however we called the number at the door and they helped us out!
