Very helpful staff. Beautiful location at the edge of a forest and with a nice little lake around the corner.

if you arrive very late, it could be a little tricky to check in. I would tell the property beforehand when you plan on arriving.

It was so bad that we left and booked into another hotel.

The room was outdated and dirty. The first room they gave us hadn’t even been made up!

Very run down and restaurant was closed on a Friday night!

A warm welcome. The property is in a delightful setting especially for us to give our dog a well earned stroll along the lake. Convenient for the motorway for our onward journey.

The bedrooms although clean and functional are tired and let dow the rest of the hotel

Location of the hotel is brilliant, quiet and relaxing, parking is excellent and free.

We arrived at 9pm and Reception had already closed, although it states it is open till 10pm. We had the keys in an envelope but we didn't get the password for the wi fi and I needed internet for work. I tried to find someone to ask for the details and nowhere in the hotel the wi fi log in details were displayed. I even spoke to some other guests and they did not know either.Breakfast was good (good varieties), but you are supposed to cook your own eggs and the egg cooker did not seem to work (may be we did not know how to use it), other guests were having trouble too. It would help if eggs are boiled, especially when people are in a rush to hit the road in the morning.

Location was 100 mtrs from a large lake. You are able to walk around lake on paved pavement. Friendly and safe feeling around lake. Runners and walkers along with fisherman enjoy the environment here. Places to eat or drink around lake area and access to town 10mins walk for the agile. Breakfast was good choice. There are garage facilities payable at hotel. These make good safe Motorcycle parking...

Some Lorries parking overnight and sleeping in cabs in car parking area. Some cooking and washing not ideal.

nice room, comfortable bed, window that can be opened, location close to a lake - a plus when traveling with a canine friend!Also the option to get in with a PIN in case of late arrival.

Not much really. The only thing I could give the place credit for was it was clean as far as we could tell and the receptionist did swap rooms when we complained.

The photos were misleading. We were completely cat fished. The room we got was nothing like the modern photos advertised. Instead it was dark, dismal and furniture like the wardrobe nailed together with fence panelling. The walls, carpet pretty much everything was something from an 80's nightmare. no ceiling lights, just an old lamp in the ceiling corner and in-between the beds which emitted hardly no light. We toured Europe over 2 weeks staying in over 7 hotels and this was the worse. After 10 hours of driving my partner broke down and cried when she saw the room as we wanted sleep. We wouldn't have minded if the photos were accurate. I complained at reception and showed the lady the photos advertised were what were expecting and the lady explained they were very busy with hardly any rooms left (the car park was empty) but she did find us one. The difference was night and day. It was obviously a more refurbished room and more closely resembled the advertised photos but at this point the damage was done. The breakfast was more than disappointing. We went to local shop instead and only had a coffee as the food was less then appetising. Minimal to say the least. We booked the hotel based on positive reviews, but our experience was completely the opposite. The photos don't do justice how bad it was.
