Meliton Hotel

The staff were lovely, couldn’t do enough, very helpful. Good little tuck shop. The grounds were very well maintained as was the two swimming pools. The beautiful sunsets.

Location, The run down beach area, proximity to the power station! The Pylons and power lines so close to hotel. The two flights of stairs to drag your cases up! No help offered. The food was awful unfortunately.

Cats around the dining area but almost all of Greece is the same ?

The people were really kind, the environment relaxing and the position quiet yet really comfortable and near the airport and the main city.

I would have preferred more typical food. I don’t want to eat pasta alla carbonara, as an Italian, when I go to Greece.

This is such a friendly fun hotel. 2 swimming pools so one for family with children and the other to relax around without too much noise etc. Basically a comfortable hotel with very casual dining and entertainment for guests.Special mention for Sandrina at reception who is super helpful and kind. The rooms are good size for the price and clean. Hotel is set in a pleasant green treed setting away from tourist area with 20 min walk to the beach..they offer a free shuttle to beach..there are power lines above hotel which does detract a bit.But for family stay we would recommend.

No tea for coffee facilities in the rooms.

It was clean and well organised. We used it as a stop off hotel either end of our holiday in Rhodes.

The hotel is not expensive and all in all provides a good value for money. It is located 10 minutes drive from the airport. It has two, not very large pools, and is far from any village, so guests rely on the hotel restaurant, which is cheap (15euro per person for lunch) but not very good. The hotel has shuttles to the beach.

The food in the restaurant is simple, and greasy looking.The pool is not shaded, and in the cruel mediterranean sun the guests are all sunburned.We would have liked a part of the pool, at least, to be shaded.

It was far from city centre but close to airport if you have a car your trip will be perfect

Lovely stay near the airport and comfortable. Our room was at the back and away fromAny noise but quite close to the pool too. Great room. Air conditioner worked well and shower had great pressure. Staff were friendly and kind.

The breakfast was a bit poor could be improved.

It’s remotely located, need transport to come in/leave

A very clean family hotel , everyone in the staff is very nice. We got to learn Greek music and dance in the entertainment time.

The breakfast can be better but fair and good amount. The place if the hotel is a little bit far away but if you have car it’s perfect.

The hotel is very nice and the room quite welcoming. The staff helped us with everything we needed and there could be small improvements. The breakfast or lunch or dinner buffet could have more options. It is a hotel located outside of town, it could offer a larger buffet. You have to be careful with GPS. There is a paved road on which you can reach the hotel. Usually the GPS will take you to the field, an off-road road where it is not driveable, especially with a small car.

Room was comfortable and pool was nice

All-inclusive rules were so stingy that you end up feeling resentful. For example you have to pay extra for a decaf coffee out of a jar. Would have been better just to reduce the overall price and charge for everything. Choice of food was poor, particularly for vegetarians. Lack of basic Greek food or healthier options. If you like pasta and chips you’ll be ok.

We stayed at Meliton only 2 nights but it proved to be a suitable choice on our return from another island before we fly back home: 15 min. drive from Kameiros port, 10 min. drive from Rhodes airport - very convenient.Nothing to fault, very clean and relaxing hotel, room was nice, 2 pools, good quality breakfast, very welcoming and helpful staff.A great value for the price overall.

We had to book the hotel last minute after our flights were cancelled l. They were extremely accommodating helping us book taxis to the airport at 4am. They couldn’t have done more for us, so nice and welcoming and helping to take the stress out of a difficult situation.

We liked our spacious room with terrace. It was clean and tidy. All necessary equipment was provided already: towels, toiletries, water for the first time. Our bed was so comfy.It's important to mention that cleaning service team reacts on the sign CLEAN or Do Not Disturb. You'll find it in the room. Please use I accordingly you needs.All inclusive option was a true pleasure for us and we found massive value here comparing with any other restaurants out there.You can expect delicious home made Greek food from fresh vegetables and fruits. Everyday you'll find something new. No surprise because it's located nearby the gardens.Entertainment was truly authentic experience every Saturday: Greek Night!Must see this show. Otherwise you won't see Greek folk dance anywhere around. We explored surroundings and understood that quickly.Swimming pools:Very clean and healthy water. It was highly appreciated by my girlfriend and she is swimming teacher daily. Even swimming equipment was available. All structure was nicely combined with green plants and in fact all pictures are true in real life. I can confirm that personally. Additionally wish to say that Meliton hotel is located 10-15 min driving distance from airport by taxi or private car OR you can take Bus 56 from airport to Meliton hotel. I'd recommend you to use GPS if you decide to travel by bus from airport. Daily or weekly tickets are available for sale and check carefully time table. We used it personally.They give scooters for rent. Great transport for travellers!After all...We truly appreciate management team and people and provided service overall. They work together to deliver best possible experience for guests and we enjoyed it all - in total 15 days and it was ALL worth it. We miss Meliton hotel now... Holidays are over but we wish to return back here later and told this manager.You'll find peace and harmony here.Beach is located just 1 mile away.

Air-conditioner wasn't working correctly and I needed to press repeatedly remote control button to start process again.Coffee isn't good and it's not strong. I'm coffee lover and prefer strong Italian espresso not instant coffee. Excuse me!
