B&B HOTEL Rio de Janeiro Norte

The hotel management and staff were approachable and met all of our needs. If we needed anything fixed or changed, they did so with quick efficiency. The hotel is near Norte Shopping and Nova America shopping so that was convenient and nice places to explore.

The only inconvenience was traveling to the south zone because it was rather time consuming, even when you took the metro. It was nice to have access to drinks and snacks at the reception bureau, but the prices were much more expensive than necessary.

Mostly the staff who were very professional and understanding . I went for a competition so they were flexible and supportive ;)

The bed was very comfortable had a good view of the area. There is a very large shopping mall directly across the street from the hotel which was ideal, carrefour supermarket is there and all the shops and plenty of variety for food, and services.

There was no breakfast served in the restaurant. There is a restaurant but it wasnt opened to guests??My check in was not very smooth, the young new employee charged my card twice when I told him the first timeit went through! The front desk staff speak no English this is a major problem if you are booking foreigners to thehotel who obviously dont speak Portuguese! The manager who I talked to about the front desk staff and the over charge on my card was pretty rude; "we credited your account" no apoplogy just really unprofessional! I would never book this hotel again nor recommend it! I had been traveling for over 10 hours and you arrive at a hotel and no one can communicate with you; very frutstrating situation. And the staff had the attitude that it was actually my problem that I didnt speak Portuguese! I saw several English speakers having problems communicating at the front reception!

It felt luxurious. The decor of the property was neat and gave off good vibes. The room was cozy and comfortable. The AC was fantastic. The bathroom had the best shower i've used in a hotel before. The breakfast was good. Across the street from a Mall that has plenty to eat.

The check-in process took way too long. Longer than any hotel i've been to. Can't think of anything else that I disliked.

Delicious breakfast every day. My room was clean and bright and the receptionists/ workers are friendly. I had a great stay.

Comfortable bed, very good air conditioner, amazing location next from the Nilton Santos Stadium.

TV sound wasn't good.

Unfortunately unable to draw cash in the ATM , I asked the hotel to pay and collect from in by Card Payment , but they refused. Somewhat i felt very sad and bad.

Nice hotel with security at the entry. I was in a double bed room at the 7th floor. It was quiet, well decorated. Breakfast is amazing. The staff is super cool and helpful, speaks good English. The hotel is just in front of a big commercial center and you have restaurants and fast foods nearby. I felt safe in the neighborhood.

Even if I knew the hotel was in the north zone of Rio, I didn't expect it to be that far. You can take the metro but it is quite far and its location not super safe at night. You basically going to take buses for at least 20 min or ubers to go too the center of rio or the beaches. My room was clean but unfortunately there was a bad smell coming from the toilet, probably some canalization issues. But it was moderate and stayed only in the bathroom.

I was charged the wrong value for parking but when I found out they solved it quickly.

Loved the cleanliness of the hotel and how helpful Elvis was. He even hooked me up with a great tour.

The breakfast could have had more vegan/vegetarian options.

A relação custo/benefício, se vc for estrangeiro ou não for do Rio de Janeiro.. Não indicaram ir.. Custa caro para tão pouco retorno, para os funcionários parece que é um favor eles nós estão fazendo prestar serviço para nós

I think the shopping center / the mall across the street added so much value to this property. There is no fine dining around the hotel, and I go to the mall every day for food, necessity, and shopping. The hotel itself is fine, I can't think of anything that is outstanding or dissatisfied. The breakfast is also fine, I like that they provide it. Overall, it was a fine stay.

the receptionist wasn’t helpful, grumpy and arrogant specially Jessica! they don’t answer phone calls from your room.

The room is fair for the price. It’s very clean and it’s comfortable. The localization is not amazing, not very safe, but it’s near to the mall and beside a pharmacy, what is helpful.The breakfast is good, a little bit overpriced for R$25,00. In general it was a good experience, fair enough.
