Pros +
- The cleanliness, the amenities, and airport proximity... the grounds were gorgeous. I booked it so last minute and the accommodation by the overnight attendant was incredible.... our flight got bumped up and the taxi i ordered wasn't going to make it in time..... it was so early in the morning and he actually drove us to the airport himself!!! Lifesaver!!! Ps... the restaurant by the pool was incredible as well.
- Staff was very pleasant, accommodating, and friendly.
- The entire villa is very beautiful. It's a mediteranean villa garden and view to the village. A very quite and comfortable place were you can rest and recharge. It's the right place if you want to relax and enjoy tradition and nature. The staff are very nice people who always smile and speak with respect. The breakfast is very good and the cleaning ladies are coming every day and they are doing a great job. The room was very comfortable with everything that we need. What I appreciated the most is that their a small place where you can pray and light up a candle for the ones the are christians. Me as a Muslim I've appreciated this very much. Thank you to Varos Villa!
Cons -
- Nothing , except not being able to spend more time there...
- The facilities did not include airconditioned areas for dining after breakfast time. The dining area was outdoors overlooking the pool, but under the extreme hot weather in late July we could not stay for dinner so we had to hire a taxi to take us to restaurants by the seaside to get some retrieve from the heat. Shower in our room was tiny and difficult to move around.

Everything was beautiful.
Beautifully set in the mountains of Lemnos . An exceptional property of vast scale . Highly recommend for its hospitality and cleanliness Exceptional authentic breakfast .
This hotel is ideal for a romantic getaway. The serene atmosphere, beautiful views, and attentive service make it the perfect choice for couples looking to escape and relax.
The pool bar is fantastic! Great drinks, friendly service, and a relaxing vibe. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the island.
The hotel’s cuisine exceeded my expectations. Every meal was a culinary delight, with fresh ingredients and a good mix of traditional and modern dishes. Absolutely delicious!
The pool area is stunning! A great place to unwind with comfortable loungers and a beautiful view. It was one of my favorite spots during my stay.
The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Limnos. Close enough to the main attractions yet situated in a peaceful area, it's the best of both worlds.
Our stay was the epitome of comfort. The rooms were spacious, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The pool was simply amazing – clean, well-maintained, and with plenty of cozy loungers to soak up the sun. It quickly became our favorite spot in the hotel!
The staff members were always attentive and greeted us with smiles. They provided excellent recommendations for activities and were always ready to help.
Hygiene is obviously a priority at Varos Village Hotel. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were impeccably clean. You can really relax and feel at ease here.
Lovely hotel with cosy set up and excellent location. The cleaning of the room was excellent and exceeding my experience from similar hotels elsewhere. The staff was very polite and helpful making our stay even better. The cappuccino for breakfast was a true pleasure! Thank you!
Everything! Location is amazing, staff is great, food is out of this world!
The staff is lovely, the cleaning of the room is exceptionally caring, the airport is close. At Limnos you have weather guarantee: sun & wind for surfers, and the military base makes it a safe place.
Time has left marks of passing and not maintaining the facilities / rethinking the change of dietary trends. Hence the hotel appeals in current form more to elderly generations. There is no flair to want sit and spend time at the hotel’s facilities - which is an issue if you wish to have a car free holiday. Really sorry.
In short the staff was my highlight, specifically the breakfast staff nikoleta and christos. The cleaning crew were great as was ioanna at checkin. My favorite part of the day at the hotel was breakfast. The fact that there was a coffee machine in the room was also convenient for people that are coffee addicts, like me. Also, the coffee and turkish delight at breakfast is a must at least once. Christos and nikoleta both made a distinct effort to make sure that we were capitalising on the wonders that limnos has to offer, and they both were highly regarded by our party. The cleaning crew never pushed and were super accommodating, asking if anything was missing, always making sure we didn't want or need anything. Unfortunately it seems to have been a crew of two for around 20 rooms.
Breakfast, despite being quality products, was extremely limited and repetitive. That being said, it was quite tasty, and the trahana is worth a try. The food from the restaurant is quite bad to put it mildly, but not expensive to its credit. I had an executive room, which seems to be a recent refurbish, however there are broken chairs, a temperamental toilet flusher, a TV which isn't properly set up, dodgy internet, and a bathroom which will let out a bad odor in the evenings. They are massively understaffed, but in all fairness, the staff do their absolute best to give guests a good memory, for the lack of better term. The pool is coming to pieces literally, we traveled with a group of friends and our children played a game of picking up the broken tiles from the pool floor. I feel that this hotel at this price range is not representative of a five star hotel, and definitely not worth it. Things missing from the premises include handicap accessibility to breakfast and pool area, a mini bar (only a small fridge that kept things cool and not cold), noone to assist with luggage, we wanted massages at the spa and we're informed that the masseur/euse was on leave, the curtains are not black out and Greek summer means light comes in at 5.30 so sleep masks are helpful, and the list could go on and on. As I realise each country has its own way to receive five stars I tried to point out the ones which I consistently notice at the five stars hotels I have been to. I also realise that the hotel presents itself as a "5 star boutique". That brings me to the higlight points.1. The actual owner decided to make his unhappiness of kids playing, granted a bit loud but still kids playing in a common area.2. The actual play area for the kids is a joke, no two ways about it. It seemed to be in need of attention as was the ping pong accessories.3. Pool in dire need of attention4. Staff to guest ratio needs working on.
We loved the location close to the airport, the views of Varos and quiteness the hotel offered. The kids absolutely enjoyed the pool.
Although our stay was exceptional, I am not sure about the value for money.
A tranquil little village resort in the middle of the island. Friendly personnel
The property needs some refurbishment to regain the 5* status. Also the personnel needs some targeted retraining
Everything was perfect. Staff is amazing. We have arrived very early to the hotel, and Ioanna was waiting for us, she is a lovely lady who helped us a lot. Very kind lady also from housekeeping (unfortunately we didn’t get her name), always smiling and together with Ioanna they definitely made sure we are taken care of. Hotel has a perfect location, nothing is far away with a car. Room was very comfortable and clean. All recommendations:)
We booked a deluxe double room but after the check in we asked for another room because the bathroom was a bit outdated. We get a free upgrade for a room in the mill. That room was much more better. The breakfast was very tasty . The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfy. All in all I would come back to stay at this hotel.
There should be in a 5 star boutique hotel a shelf where to put your shower gel and shampoo in the shower. The closet wardrobe back side was in a terrible state. The breakfast was the same every morning and after 5 days you did not know what to eat. The front door slammed when the wind blew because it didn't close properly. Water was leaking from the shower cabin. The common areas were not well maintained.
