Pros +
- Outstanding staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. We were made to feel like very special guests and treated very kindly. Greeted with aperitifs and breakfast was very well presented and wonderful. Excellent personal service throughout our stay. Very comfortable, large rooms with a very luxurious atmosphere.
- The welcome drink at the arrival and the athmosphere
- Amazing place.Nice room super good food.Near the castello. The owner so warm polite helpfully.Good parking
Cons -
- The spa - not included in the price, and too expensive if you book the room on booking
- Access was a bit hard, but there was a convenient parking area you have to drive to, and then, an easy passage through a bridge to the hotel.
- The room was quite small and crampedThe a/c was not working because it wasn't turned on centrally yet (it was the beginning of the summer), but the room was very warm from the two hot days that we were there and when opening the windows, there is a very noisy street with cars passing all the time and it was a problem for us

Very welcoming and friendly staff, they accommodate all our needs. Nice view from the room, quiet area, great food. Totally recommend
The staff were incredible and so attentive, and extra nice to our dog. Such care in the details and great restaurant - the food was excellent. The spa was good, and the area lovely. Will definitely come back!
Everything, room, spa and service
We were upgraded(not easily) to a large suite with a beautiful view to the river. The room was large, and the bathroom very nice. Breakfast was different and great. Marco was very nice. It was very close to Bard fortress. The Spa was great

Great hotel with beautiful spa, excellent breakfast and restaurant, top service in a picturesque location. We loved it!
Stayed here before en route to our house in Italy. Its location is ideal. It’s In a great little town and a nice secure car park close by
Everything else, the staff was very nice

I really, really enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel. The staff, the room, the spa, and the restaurant were all excellent. It is a great place to stay when visiting the Fort of Bard.
The location was great. Staff and restuarant were very good.
The only problem was that the WiFi was very poor.
Historical location, off the beaten track, undiscovered gem! Dog-friendly and even had her own little terrace/room which was lovely. Absolutely lovely staff! Very glad we stopped off on route through Italy.
No parking but easy to find some nearby. Dogs in the village of Hone were not friendly when we walked through it - a lot of barking from both sides, but it was quite funny. On a busy road so a little scary with a toddler & dog but there is a traffic light zebra crossing :-)
We were given free access to the spa which was excellent and an impressive development 8n the stone foundations of the building.
best Hotel i booked in Aostavalley so far. very nice rooms, comfi beds, nice stuff and nice spa! unfortunately the restaurant was closed on a monday but it looks very nice.

Staff are Amazing! So good to see people who love their job from reception to breakfast staff an absolute credit to them. The room and the hotel has sooo much character and atmosphere
parking but really the hotel is worth the effort ❤️
Nicely renovated, historic building. Great spot to see the bard castle. Great restaurant in the ground floor.
Breakfast was a bit below expectations for a 4* Hotel with a great restaurant (No vegetables, no freshly prepared food)
Walking distance to the Fort Bard and medieval town, Bard. Amazing views of the mountains, valleys and fort.
room was big and clean
there is no private parking
