    Pros +

    • Location
    • Its calm and quiet, the breakfast and the staff were amazing.
    • We were placed in room 1 which is called Ghenba. Check in was a little confusing as we were given a door code that didn't work but staff sorted it quickly. The bed was unreal. So comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped and had a jacuzzi bath. Minor nitpick with the smart TV was that the screen was a little damaged but didn't spend much time watching it. Linen changed daily and tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was very basic but done very well. The pool area was a god send due to the weather and overall we were very happy. The Aircon was very much needed and worked a charm.

    Cons -

    • Noise upstairs at night.. every night. Breakfast was a disappointment.
    • The gym was a little run down and the treadmill didn't work. There was an extra charge to actually use the spa which was a little disappointing. Lastly and I cannot blame the hotel but there was an event at the property behind the hotel on our last night. The noise from the awful singers was diabolical and felt like it was happening in the room. Thank god it stopped at midnight.
    • The accommodation was extremely damp, with mold on the walls. There were old wooden windows that let in a lot of noise from the street and allowed drafts of wind to pass through.

The breakfast was average with a limited selection, but the staff was friendly.

The accommodation was extremely damp, with mold on the walls. There were old wooden windows that let in a lot of noise from the street and allowed drafts of wind to pass through.

Cherry and Loraine were very accommodating, and very friendly. They got in touch in advance to confirm the check-in process, which was super easy. The hotel was really easy to find, and the breakfast was also delicious! Rooms were comfortable and clean.

One room got a little bit of noise from people walking outside, but nothing major at all.

Strategic location to visit Malta, comfortable and spacious room. Facilities are nothing exceptional but are good. Staff very friendly and helpful

The place is nice and peaceful, the staff friendly, the room was quite comfortable with lots of natural light, and overlooking gardens.

I think the place would benefit from better upkeep. Also, considering that the accommodation doesn't provide lunch or dinner, so you need to get your own food, it would be nice to have something like a table or desk where one could sit down and eat. Otherwise, good value.

It is such a beautiful property equipped to make you feel relaxed. The place is in a quiet neighbourhood and had easy parking. The room was very clean and had different facilities such as robes, towels, slippers and bath soaps. The outdoor tub was great and was clean, despite being outside. The staff was very helpful and we felt comfortable during our stay. The breakfast was delicious too.

The deckchairs on our private terrace where not very clean but this is a minor detail which did not hinder our stay at all.

The breakfast, the surroundings were all great.

The indoor pool had to be booked beforehand. It was not available for the slots we wanted :-(

The jacuzzi was warm and nice.

We booked an apartment, and we found out that we had a small house on two floors, that we didn't know was that it was on two floors. The door is too difficult to open because it got stuck alot, and as we entered the smell of mould was too much. When we went downstairs to find the kitchinette we found the sachets of teabags and sugar, all moulded and the sugar solid. And when I got out the saucepan out of a drawer to heat my son's bottle, the outer of the saucepan was all moulded. And also the television doesn't make sense to make it near the sofabed instead of the main bedroom.

The surrounding was quite relaxing and the staff really nice and helpful. Indoor pool was really nice as we had private session booked at extra cost :)

The indoor pool had to be booked at extra cost and having small kids 1hour or 2 hours are not enough unfortunately especially in winter rainy days. There also needs to be some maintenance in rooms (beds, nets, broken walls)

Nicely prepared breakfast every day, nice style of hotel.

The extra sofa bed was a bit saggy, and noise from the road can be on the loud side.

The hotel was comfortable and relaxed (although being out of season not very busy), everything works, lovely grounds and excellent wifi and takes about 30 minutes to get to by taxi from the airport depending on traffic.

It just doesn't feel very loved?! For example, it is let down by a distinctly average breakfast - there is an excellent bakery about 200m from the hotel why don't they have fresh bread and pastries rather than the sliced mass produced bread and poor pastries? Why not fresh orange juice? I could see an orange tree from my window! Also there is an irritating sound from the road that runs alongside the house - everytime a car goes past (frequently at busy times) it is like a repetitious thud!? Finally the water pressure is great if only the water stayed in the bath and sink!!

    Poor

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel left much to be desired, despite the fact that the property was well-maintained and cleanliness and aesthetics were at a good level. However, the issues we encountered significantly reduced the comfort of our stay. The hotel’s offer stated that it provides parking, which is very misleading. In reality, there is only street parking available, which can be used not only by hotel guests but by anyone. Moreover, on weekends when the property hosts events such as birthday parties or christenings, the parking is completely taken up by the event attendees. Hotel guests are left without a place to park, which was extremely frustrating. Our room was located on level -1, which turned out to be a significant issue. The noise from the street was very disruptive – we could hear every passing car, especially the sound of wheels hitting the manhole covers. Sleeping in such conditions was very difficult, and being woken up by noise in the morning effectively ruined any chance of proper rest. The hotel should consider better soundproofing these rooms to provide guests with basic comfort. The hotel claims in its offer that it has both an outdoor and an indoor pool, but it was not mentioned anywhere that access to the indoor pool comes with an additional fee – and a rather high one at that. Such information should be clearly stated in the offer, as it is misleading. The biggest disappointment, however, was the breakfast. It is served exclusively à la carte, with only four set options available. Unfortunately, all of them were of very poor quality. The portions were extremely stingy, and the quality of the products was dreadful. For example, in the English breakfast, the sausages tasted like paper, and for four pieces of toast, only a tiny pat of butter was provided – barely enough for two slices. The cold cuts were meager (two slices for four pieces of toast) and of very low quality.

We really enjoyed our stay.. The hotel is in a great location .. close enough to the main roads and seems to be 20 mins from everywhere - perfect! Quiet at night time which was lovely… We had two rooms, both immaculately clean.. They were a great size.. We only saw the hotel team at breakfast - they made us feel so welcome though, the two ladies always had a smile which was so nice to see.

The pool area seemed to need a little extra tlc - the leaves from the surround trees were left to float after they fell. I think a quick sweep of the pool and surrounding area would have made all the difference.. Personal preference with this maybe - the beds and pillows were too soft… Not ideal..
