    Pros +

    • We loved the grounds and the spa as well as the meals we had at the very good restaurant! The grounds are very well kept and great for long walks, lounging or even morning jogs. The spa was exceptional and was included in our stay. The staff was always friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
    • The grounds were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
    • The facilities are spacious in an charming chateau setting with a super modern spa area.

    Cons -

    • There was nothing we din't like, but we did learn for our next stay that you have to reserve the hotel restaurant as it can be easily booked out.
    • No gym and no hotel transportation. We did not have a car and getting a taxi/Uber was not easy and very expensive. One ride was 33 Euros and some rides were 60 Euros. It would have been really great if the hotel had a van to help clients. Another option for more casual dining would also be helpful.
    • The staff did not informed/asked us about the dinner (fully booked) on the first night. The location does not offer any other quality restaurant and had to order food from Uber Eats late at night.

The castle is amazing and beautiful. The staff lacked client excellence service.

The resort has beautiful exteriors and a SPA, including an outdoor pool. Very good parking.

We had room 111, small, dark. The air conditioning blew all night on our heads and backs even at the lowest power. The room was practically very warm. We had booked the restaurant indoors through OpenTable, but the resort's website offers this restaurant as well. Relalita is an indoor restaurant with a spare outdoor patio with deck chairs in 30deg heat. Inexcusable. Breakfast at 9AM completely full, minimal offerings, empty menu platters. Again on the patio in the morning heat. Indoor breakfast restaurant closed again. We cancelled our stay after one night. The hotel offers service that does not qualify. The value is over priced.

Hotel was full of character. Very clean rooms, great room facilities. Great pool and nice restaurant.

Booked a family room (2 adults, 2 kids) which they provided. However when we arrived we were told my son (11) has to only access the pool from the outside. The restaurant didn't have any family options, you had to ask off the menu. We went out to eat one night and had left overs, so brought it back and were told not to bring in take outs, which is wasn't, but that's crazy.Basically it's a great hotel for.adults, but they should either make it more family friendly or not take the bookings at all. Make up your greedy minds.

This place is exceptional! Such a wonderful spa area, such a nice people around and fantastic breakfast! We enjoyed a lot swimming pool outside...everything is so clean and new...it is just been renovated i think. Bed and towels were made and checked 2 times a day!!! So clean, so beautiful, so nice! Territory is super pretty with flowers all around! Great job! We will be back with my family!

location outside Como city area makes it difficult to find taxis or Uber to move from there

The building was really nice. Very rustic on the outside but modern inside

No pavements to walk down the road a bit. Think this is typical in Italy though

The hotel, the location amd the staff were exceptional. The quality of the food and all aspects of food preparation, delivery and presentation were above 5 Star. As a group of 22 people staying here for 3 nights it is without fault, and would be extremely hard to get better.

Location was good and the garden is nice.

The dinner was very amateurish. They pretend to be a serious restaurant but the staff are bored, slapdash and seriously inattentive. The food was good but the low level service pretty much ruins the evening.Bathroom floor was covered in long black hair when we arrived, shower heads leaking all around and covered in red fungus.

Excellent hotel on huge property with beautiful garden ans swimming pool area. Everything was great. Spacious and nicely furnished suite with private sauna. Very good breakfast and Friendly staff. Well recommended!

I only wish the spa opening hours would be different so it would open sooner and close later.

The hotel is lovely. It's outside of the main attraction areas but that was fine for us. The pool is brand new and wonderful. The staff were lovely and the food great. The rooms are quite small but for the money I think it was fine and its not really a place you stay in the room a lot. Good aircon!

The hotel and the surrounding gardens were well looked after.

The rooms hidden in a corner with no real window. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom good, but the lack of windows was a large down point.

Nice big room, comfortable mattress, new towels every day, stunning surroundings, stunning garden, friendly and helpful staff, EV charging, dogs accepted, I also liked the breakfast.

a bit noisy from the street nearby, Blindings were broken.

Nothing really went well - it was a uncomfortable from the beginning

A very bad experience. Having travelled a lot, in all parts of the world, over decades this hotel captures first place as the worst hotel evaluated by "value for money". I never spend time on evaluating hotels after a stay but this time I simply feel that I have to do it.. The place was completely full of wedding guests and the party completely overtook all areas including the courtyard, the garden, the lobby. At the pool a very noisy low hanging drone flew around and probably recorded the wedding from above. We had reserved a table in the Le Cru restaurant but because of the wedding we were escorted out of the restaurant and to a table next to the pool where they were serving instead. It was a long walk for the waiters from the kitchen in Le Cru down to the pool and the food got cold before being served. The waiters seemed very inexperienced and for the first time in my life we had to ask an astonishing FOUR times to get a coke for our son (we have three kids, ordered three cokes, they brought us two and we asked for one more). The fourth time we asked the waiter started running across garden towards the Le Cru restaurant and managed to get back with the coke just as we finished the main course. From the hotels side its completely inappropriate to arrange weddings at the same time as guests can book rooms. We are sharing the same facilities and it just doesn't work. I have never experienced anything like this before and I will not in a million years consider going back

    Poor

Location is nice for meetings, events, celebrations. Families with children and couples are prone to boredom. We booked a 3 nights stay in order to visit the Como Lake and because of the pool, because obviously summer = pool especially when you live in a 365 days rainy country. 5 days in advance they sent a message through booking.com informing the pool wasn’t ready and our reservation was already non refundable. When I explained our disappointment upon checking they offered us a JS with sauna. It’s kind, sweet and nice but who needs a sauna with 35 degrees outside. After the checkout they called us twice to offer a discount voucher for our next stay (we did not ask or complain for that), never received it. If you want to charge your hybrid car it’s 35€ / charge. It was good but definitely not worth it when you pay an arm for 3 nights.

Beautiful hotel and very nice staff.

We were informed just a couple of days before our arrival that the pool was closed for reconstruction. When we arrived we noticed that they must have been working on the pool for some time so the original listing should have indicated this. We specifically were looking for accommodations with a pool. Once we were notified we were already in Italy and didn’t want to spend our vacation searching for an alternative.
