Hôtel des Patients is located in a quiet area in Lausanne, on the grounds of the CHUV university hospital center. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk. The hotel is the first of its type in Switzerland, combining accommodations for guests and patients at the same time. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a seating area where you can relax or a terrace. A breakfast buffet is available every morning. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant, on the terrace or a drink at the bar. The M2 metro station is a 5-minute walk from Hôtel des Patients and the main train station, the lake and the city center are reachable within a few minutes.

- Great hotel. Super clean, great comfort, amazing view. Staff very helpful and very pleasant. Highly rated property. Room very spacious, with all the needed requirements. 4 to 5
- Two things - convenient location (close to the hospital) and quiet.
- Wonderful quiet and clean hotel, friendly staff, big breakfast included.

- The advantage they enjoy in having patients referred to it directly from the hospital appears to have led to a 3-star hotel charging as a 4-star hotel. No refrigerator in even the best rooms (unacceptable), no gym facilities. Decor in the rooms is functionary and bland.
- The location is a little bit outside the city center, but it's very easy to get downtown (15min walk, 5min subway ride).
