Pros +
- Beautiful room, friendly and efficient staff, good restaurant. It was perfect for a business trip.
- Just a ten minute easy walk from the train station. Facilities were excellent with a wonderful breakfast. French was not a language any of us spoke, and there was only one English speaking member of the staff that we encountered but that made no difference as all were SO friendly and helpful (as was Google translate :) ). Close to restaurants and both COOP & MIgros groceries and the charming old town of Romont is a short but uphill walk away. Bus stop is nearby; note that before the bus takes you to the old town the routing goes "backwards" to a central station where one changes a bus to go back to the old town. Very doable, just research your travel. Romont is a beautiful place with the friendliest of residents. Lots to do--just visit the well equipped (and also friendly staffed) information center near the castle/Vitro Museum. Left many things unseen in Romont, would like to go back.
- Very kind and welcoming host, clean, quiet, and classy. Very easily reachable and close to all amenities. Soundproof, good water and shower.

- All was super!
- The breakfast was a bit too much gluten-dairy, and fruits were not very appealing but still had nice local products!

Friendly, staff with kindness,Arrived late at night and got nice welcoming. I hope they increase the breakfast varieties.
Very good location, 5 min on foot to the railway station. Though the hotel does not have air conditioning, in spring and autumn it seems to be a perfect place to explore the numerous hiking trail in the area. Historical building really added flavor to our stay. A lot of convenient parking space.Room was clean and with enough space. Good bathroom. Excellent bed, we slept really well. With the windows closed we had no noise from outside, and it was very quiet inside. Reception is not staffed, but our keys and access codes were waiting for us, and all worked well. The only staff we faced was the restaurant team, and they were extremely helpful and welcoming.Restaurant on site may be not too exciting, but good and worth visiting. Breakfast not outstanding, but sufficient.
It would be nice to have brighter light in the room. Wi-Fi was working, but slow. The hotel’s site contains outdated restaurant’s working hours and menu. The bathroom’s door has a cheap look and creates noise, very unwelcome at night. However, considering all our experience - excellent value for money
Spacious room. Quality furniture. Nice touch of luxury. Nice attentive staff on breakfast. Lovely tea cups. Didn’t get to try out the bar?Would like to have stayed another 2 nights but fully booked.
- A very spacious room at the top floor of the hotel- Clean shower and beds- It was great having a small fridge for our drinks- Good beds and a choice of different pillows- Cozy, enclosed garden to sit and dine in- Easy parking in front of the hotel- Very helpful and friendly staff (they helped us very well with various questions during our stay!)- The ice creams at the restaurant are delicious!
- The bath tub was very slippery, maybe installing a handle to pull yourself up would be a great idea- Please install insect/screen windows, we battled a lot of mosquitos in the night- We chose this room because the description mentioned there was airconditioning, but there was none... A fan was standing in the room, but it might be fair to remove it from the description for other Booking guests- Breakfast was very simple and the bread (apart from the croissants) was stale. I think for a 4-star hotel this can use some improvements. - The restaurant was closed 2 out of 4 days we were at the hotel. We unfortunately didn't know this beforehand.
Location, good breakfast & service, patio
Street noise
Not very much. Pretty good breakfast.
Bed was small and uncomfortable, with a plastic under sheet. We are adults, not bed-wetting children! Loud loud location with lots of traffic 24 hours. Hot room, west facing. Very weird door/lock system, kind of unsafe.
Breakfast was really tasty. Small but tasty.
Room was really hot. There was no air conditionin in the room.
For a train traveler vising Romont this is a very good choice as it is within walking distance of the station and below the steep part of the access to Romont village. The French speaking staff were very friendly and my check-in process went very smoothly, including training me how to use the electronic lock release to open the door to the room. It is an old hotel but very nicely renovated and an extremely modern bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and the room has a balcony which you can sit out on. There is also a pod style coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was very good too. Romont is a lovely village to visit. The hotel's restaurant has good choice, though I chose to eat out to explore the life in the village in the evenings. Highly recommended.
Nothing comes to mind.
Clean and super friendly staff. We like the outdoor patio.
Our room was on the second floor and it was hot. We opened the window, but no real breeze was created. Suggest to ask for a first floor room from April - sept.
staff, the breakfast and the lunch. the room was warm and cosy.
nothing really
Bright and clean and the staff were very attentive
Kettle in the corridor it would be better if it was in the room small detail but otherwise a great place to stay.
Friendly welcoming owner, comfortable beds and room. I felt very safe and booked a few extra nights.

Good location and parking. Outside area was nice.
No aircon even though superior rooms were advertised with. Paid for a superior room but our friends that also paid for a superior has a substantially better room. Fridge did not work in the room (it was unplugged they clearly knew it didn’t work). Old sweets left in the mini fridge from previous guests.
Room was very large and bathroom was amazing. TV worked well! Breakfast was ok and the bar area was reasonably priced for Switzerland.
Staff weren't very personable and often came across as rude a lot of the time. To get into the room, you have to enter a code at a monitor on the wall - felt odd. Breakfast was limited.
Not good value for money.
Although the individual staff were trying, there was no beer available (although took over 15mins to be told that after we'd ordered) and the breakfast was meager. The bedroom was hot and on the road, so too noisy if the window was open. No AC. The light switch was behind the headboard amd the ceiling light would ramdomly come on during the night.
The staff were incredible - so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious and the service for breakfast was incredibly attentive.
The place is elegant, restaurant inside. There is a nice patio outside, where you could have a drink, (unfortunately it was cold during our stay). Free internet, but not used, so not sure how it is. The room is essential, just good for a transit.
The room is small, and the bed is short. If you are tall 1.90, you will feel the bed short. Not good if you wish to spend some days and spend time in the room.
