Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi

Fantastic Experience. I enjoyed my stay there. I was a luxurious experience. The swimming pool is super clean, the rooms are spacious and fantastic and roof top view and restaurant are amazing.

Nice big room, new and clean.

Room sound proofing is not good at all.The cleaning service make so much noise when clean next room. Guests talk very loud in the hall at 5am!!! 4-5 guests even sit on the floor, in front of the elevator and non stop talking. I report to the hotel staff but they do nothing to warn the noisy guests.

They have a great view from the balcony and the restaurant.

I got a catcalling from one of the staff when i was at the parking area. They think who they are? I hope the management of this hotel teaching him of respecting they own guests!!!Ps: they do catcalling to me during the day with 2 woman and 2 man here. Disgusting behaviour!!!

Everything about kokoon i love itThis is my first decision for staying 2 night at kokoon hotel, otherwise my husband has busies at El Hotel

Welcome drink maybe available at our room, in order that we could enjoy it when we open the cabin

Superb hotel, amazing view, exceptionally friendly staff and an amazing view. Highly recommended.

For those wishing to be in the centre, it is a little further out. But for the service and view, I believe that is worth it.

Spacious room. The bed is comfortable and the interior is very modern. The pool and rooftop bar are also nice.

The breakfast menu should be improved, more choices for the buffet would be much better.

Despite informing the staff we would be checking out 16 hours early, we were charged an early check in fee, initially of 475,000 rupiah, then reduced to 375,000 only for them to attempt to charge 475,000 again. The cleaning staff rung the bell twice at 9am to try and clean the room. Granted we forgot to put the do not disturb sign on, but never have I been somewhere where they loudly rang the bell so early.21% service charge on top of everything seemed excessive.The food was not very good. Especially the Western dishes, the local dishes were better. Granted this may be personal taste. Local restaurants were quite limited given the hotel is out of Banyuwangi centre.There was often a communication issue which meant food such as fruit platter that was ordered, were not delivered. This is on top of menu options advertised not being available.I can see they’re trying to target the high end market, but a lot felt lacking. I personally wouldn’t recommend the hotel. Far too expensive compared to other options.

This was a wonderful place to stay very clean and friendly staff We are actually coming back again tomorrow afternoon after checking out just yesterday

I always stay at the Kokoon Hotel in Banyuwangi because it meets my expectations.Everything is right - team - comfort - cleanliness.I can only recommend the Kokoon Hotel

I have stayed at the Kokoon Hotel several times and can only repeat my review from last time.The rooms are large and the beds are very good.The hotel team is very friendly and helpful.For my next visit in Banyuwangi I will come back

The hotel is cozy, new and clean!! me and my friend stay here after the hiking in Ijen, have a very good rest here. The staff are very friendly and especially Cynthia, she helps us a lot for early check in and the transportation from here to Surabaya, highly recommend!

Excellent in all respects. The hotel towers above everything around it. Comfortable rooms with good views, a sumptuous buffet breakfast, lovely roof top bar and courteous staff.

Some traffic noise in the rooms that face the street and coast.

Overall detail of the ambiance. Love the smell of the lobby, the small attention to detail of the decor, the room ambiance and the food also very nice.

The noise outside the road is very loud from the room even though we were at 10th floor. If the room is more sound-proof perhaps it can solve the issue.

Everyone at Kokoon goes out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and have a good stay. The breakfast buffet is out of this world. The beds are huge and very comfy. It is spotlessly clean.

I can't think of anything I didn't like! (They had gin in the rooftop bar but no tonic, that's about all I can think of.)

Room : Spacious, Clean, Smells good, Comfort pillows, just the fridge was not working.The lobby is modern yet still has traditional vibes. The smells of lemongrass really comforting.Staffs are very helpful, nice and friendly.Breakfast : many choices Strong wifi.

The room was clean and comfortable. We have a good rest. They also have massage and spa, so after back from hiked Ijen we directly went massage. It’s really relaxing and helpful
