Pros +
- Directly across from a local well-stocked & affordable mini-market. Hotel landscape well-maintained, friendly staff.
- I stayed at Hotel Teiti recently and found it to be a generally pleasant experience. The location was decent — not far from key areas, though not the most central. That said, the beach directly in front of the hotel was absolutely beautiful, with soft white sand and clear water. It’s definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The restaurant and main hall had a really nice, welcoming atmosphere. It was a great place to relax, enjoy a meal, or just unwind. The environment felt calm and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience.
- The seaside bungalows, the grounds, the pool, the scenery
Cons -
- Mold in shower grout, plenty of ants, older hotel with dated cabinets in room, not much of a beach to speak of.
- weak Wi-Fi signal in the room. It made it difficult to stay connected or get work done, which could be a drawback for some travelers.
- Nothing really that hotel could control given the political situation.

Heated pool, good facilities, friendly and helpful people! Thank you for everything!
Spacious room, good location, good food (even.tho limited choice).

Beautiful location.Bungalows were old but very clean. Pool and bar area very clean and inviting.
The dinner buffet quality was not great. We prefer a plant based diet but very little choice in that respect. There was no ala carte option available that night so had no alternative choice. No eating out options in Poindemie either.Breakfast buffet was really good.Plenty of choice.
Location Friendly staff
Bathroom abit tired mould
The special beach bungalow. Being right by the sea. Breakfast was super.
Needed more than one roll of toilet paper.
We ate at the restaurant both nights we stayed at Tieti and were happy with the food on both occasions. The first night buffet was particularly good. We had a beach front bungalow which was very spacious and comfortable with a nice verandah looking onto the beach. Sound of the waves, very tranquil.
Nothing really. More inforamation about the local area and things to do would have been good.
Lovely grounds and facilities, enjoyed dinner at the restaurant.
Couldn't swim at the beach, told it was too dangerous. Pool over crowded and even warmer than ocean. Didn't like you having your own food in the rooms.
Waitress staff were excellent and super efficient. Different evening meal option every night was good. The vegetarian menu was especially good. Coffee machine for breakfast good.
Buffett breakfast was a bit lame and always the same. Canned mushrooms, rice, little sausages pretty average. Eggs were good though as you could cook your own.
Breakfasts were good, especially the mushrooms
The restaurant offered some very disappointing dinner dishes. The pizza was the best offering.
Hotel Tieti is well located on a beautiful beach. We wanted to see Poindimie and we did some lovely drives and swimming in waterfalls while there. Nice swinging chairs overlooking the beachfront and a reasonably sized pool. Good bar with nice alcoholic and non-alcoholic options and friendly and helpful waitstaff.
Hotel Tieti has a 1980s vibe, it's a little run down. The food was ok, but not brilliant. We accidentally broke a bottle of wine in our room and cleaned it up as best as we could, however there were a few small shards of glass left. We apologised and asked for housekeeping to come and sweep up the last shards, but they never came.
Location of hotel on the beach: We felt invited to do a nice walk. Room was comfortable, bathroom too. And we had a little verandah!
Beach bungalow! Beach beautiful and hardly anyone on it. Swam without problems (shark, big waves etc,). Staff were so nice despite language barrier.
Internet connection totally unreliable.
A fantastic location and the perfect end to a trip in New Caledonia. The beachside huts are a must if you’re looking to treat yourself.
The internet cuts in and out at times, so be sure to download any movies beforehand.
Loved our trip! Very relaxing and clean hotel. Staff are super helpful although limited English. Recommend the snorkelling located on site hosted by separate business - ask for Martine ☺️
It was beautiful
I had a disturbance in the night.I had the very end bungalow next to a park where guys hung out and could look in at me on the balcony. Torch lights were shining through my windows throughout the night I didn't feel safe and someone was coming on the balcony?Tried contacting hotel no reply and no one came in the end to sort it out. Luckily I slept after a few hours and tried to not worry. Contacted booking.com she was great she said someone was coming but no one did.No one seemed to know about it in the morning.Just a bummer but wouldn't as a single woman travelling stay in that particular bungalow the furthest away and not sure I was paying any less a price.Everything else was gorgeous the rooms are beautifulLooking out to sea and traditional style classic pacific island style.???
Nice location near the beach with a big swimming pool. The dinner was delicious.
Cleanliness should be improved, we had coackroaches in our room. More sunbeds around the pool would be great to fit all the guests.
Location
A bit old and things not working properly. Nobody spoke English other than Ismail ... the barman who was very good.
