Great location - right at the castle. The room was satisfactory for our needs. The proprietor was excellent and most helpful! The attached restaurant was excellent!! A nice place to stay at.

I enjoyed the outside dining on the terrace. The dinner was excellent. Breakfast was also good and the croissants as fresh and buttery as any I've ever tasted. The hotel is characterful in a great location near the citadel. I was able to park my car in the parking very nearby, for free. The bedrooms have been upgraded so the facilities are good. The patron was very friendly and welcoming. I'd be happy to return.

Some of the furnishings in the public areas are tired and need replacing or re-upholstering. The reception area has a weird display with strange items including the root of an olive tree. That needs to go, as does the glass screen on the reception counter that presumably has remained after the lockdown. The waitress could do with trying to smile now and then!

Very friendly staff. The hotel is just in front of the castle, and only steps from the center of the town.The food from the restaurant was a great price-value.We' ll definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was nice and had a beautiful view of the street and the castle. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Large room, comfortable bed, excellent en suite bathroom with a good shower.The staff were very friendly and helpful especially with parking my motorcycle inside their courtyard at night. Hotel has a nice restaurant, always busy so a good sign, food was lovely. I am happy to return again.

Not enough pillows, lack of towels.

Position, the room is big and comfortable, the staff is friendly and it is clean. The towels are real towels and they give in 3 sizes for each guest.I stayed for 1 night to sleep after a festival and it was more than ok.

The mattress and the pillows were too soft for my liking, but it is a matter of personal taste.

Aircon was not working in our room.Our waitress in the restaurant pressured us to order quickly without telling us what was not available until we tried to order it. Our lack of french did not help.

The location is good, a quiet road near to the large Chateau, which is a feature of Sedan. The hotel is also a restaurant and I would recommend the restaurant as the food was good, wholesome food at a reasonable price. The hotel was pleasant and adequate, the breakfast was upstairs in a dedicated room and was also very adequate with plenty of choice.

The separation of hotel and restaurant was confusing but didn't detract from the stay but it did make the welcome a little cooler than I would hope for. Otherwise all good.

The hotel was beautiful and old-fashioned architecture, located in a quiet part of Sedan, minutes from the Chateau and town.Despite our lack of French, the owner was very friendly. He even instructed us on where to park our motorcycle in the inner courtyard. The evening meal was delicious. The room was comfortable. The only downside was the lack of aircon, especially during the heatwave. Will definitely be returning some time in the future.

I had a bit trouble with the internet (initially not able to connect, interruptions in connection). I didn't like to click on the light each time you walk on the corridor, now with LED lamps that can be be improved.

Great area for hiking. Room was nice, breakfast was really good. Parking was right outside. Restaurant food for dinner was fabulous

The staff were very welcoming, the hospitality was excellent and the staff were patient considering are language barrier. The cleanliness was superior throughout the entire property. The food, both breakfast and dinner, were exceptional. This property was in a great location, incredibly accommodating and kind to my family and I. The rooms are so clean, nice and spacious. And the beds were very comfortable too. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND lodging and eating at this GREAT property.

The room was as described, clean and very quiet. Everything was in working order. Parking in the vicinity was easy and free of charge. The hotel has a very central location. The breakfast was of good standard and varied. The restaurant offers real value for money. Good staff, friendly and professional.

The breakfast room didn't look very welcoming at first sight.
