    Pros +

    • Nice room, friendly staff and good restaurant. The Crozes-Hermitage was particularly good
    • Stunning modern dog friendly hotel in a stunning location. We stayed one night travelling through France. We had a great dinner in the restaurant. Lovely bar area. We were travelling with our 2 dogs. They were very welcome in the hotel. Beautiful woodland works up above the hotel. Parking easy and right in front of hotel. Would definitely return if in the area
    • Close to main roads for people travelling through with its own private car parking. All staff were friendly and helpful. An excellent onsite restaurant with a good choice of food and wine.

    Cons -

    • Everything was excellent
    • nothing!
    • Strange shower over the toilet. Meant that with the slope of the floor the toilet was very high. Couldn’t find a mirror it was hidden behind the bathroom door. Parking was difficult with a car statue in disabled spot.

The hotel is OK, but not a 4 star hotel. Parking is free and plentiful. The room is small, but as advertised.

It has very basic amenities in the room (shampoo/body gel an lotion). The room was small. When we entered the room there was a strong bleach smell. It appears the toilet cleaning solutions were poured but not flushed. After flushing the cleaners, the bleach smell disappeared. The shower over the tub would not stay in place, and it was very hard to keep the water from getting outside the tub and onto the floor. Poor design. I found the price too high for what you get.

    The pool hospitality

Very noisy after closing time lots of banging shouting in the car parks & downstairs

    10JacintaPosted on: 6-19-2025

Beautiful hotel in the Hills. Lovely pool and outdoor areas. It was very hot so the air-conditioning was fantastic

Breakfast was limited. Expensive for what was on offer

    8MartynPosted on: 5-17-2025

Modern style with friendly and very helpful staff. Easy onsite parking with good restaurant.

Superior bedrooms for the cost are not very spacious and the shower in the bath is quite small.

    Lovely friendly staff

It feels a little bit run down but when it’s busy during the high season with the swimming pool open and lots of guests around the atmosphere is probably more pleasant.

Lovely place and really nice staff. This place is akin to the British Airways insofar that the only thing that keeps it going are the staff

One of the most complicated bath plugs I had ever had a misfortune to encounter - so much so, the the members of staff were stumped as to how it worked.
