Comfortable bed,2 chairs in the room. Very conveniently situated close to the autoroute. One light not working in bathroom, kettle lid broken & kettle connection intermittent; no plug for sink, so a lot of water wasted. The whole place needs a facelift - very tired looking. We say the same every time we’ve stayed here, but nothing is done about it!
Location easy access from A89 motorwayGround floor accommodation availableComfortable beds and fair TV system and channelsGreat shower facility with strong water pressure and hot water available 3 course dinner menu with 4 choices available at Euro 25.00Breakfast items (Euro 12.00) like 4 star hotel, buffet style with quality products from beverage, fruits, food, pancakes, ceoissants, chocolate croissants, cakes and fresh made yogurt from Alps.Large parking spaceDue to my inconvenience with the heating system and room move, they made a gesture to offer breakfast. The place got popular after 6pm, so ensure you arrive in advance to secure your parking spot.
The first room allocated, the heating system was blowing cold air. Instructions on the wall do not match with the heating device. Called reception, they brought me 2 warm bed couverture (blue color) and 1 hand electric chauffage but that did not help (the electric device can warm 1 m2 in the room). After dinner, one receptionist came and noticed the heating system was not suitable so she proposed a room change to the next door that was warm. In that location, temperature outdoors can easily be minus 7 to minus 15 at a time, so double check the heating system at first. The outdoor gate was not closed at night unlike other Campanile in France, and there is a clear sign "park at your own risk".In the second room, there was a black hair under the pillow which I removed since it was late. The rest of the room cleanliness was good. The bathroom heating promised the 7mn in the bathroom which was reduced to 2 minutes (mal function).
Staff agreeable. Good breakfast.
Rooms need refreshing.
FIrst, the night receptionist, Nacera, is fantastic- smooth checkin- and she does everything else too- our waiter/server at dinner, tracked down an extra comforter for us by herself, checked food we had into their fridge, and was kind and informative- really nice. The hotel is very close to the main highway, lots of parking, restaurant open late (great steak), and handy Total station next door. Very reasonable price.
Breakfast was Continental, no nothing hot, but still very satisfying.
Very comfortable bedVery close to the motorwayEasy parking close to the room Two chairs in the room!Excellent for older people
It could do with being renovatedTwo light bulbs needed to be replacedThe lid of the kettle was broken & kept falling off - nothing had changed since our last visit to the same room!
Convenient, comfortable, affordable
Room would benefit from an upgrade. Meal portion rather small.
Friendly staff, convenient stopDinner pleasant
Accommodation pleasant but needs some updating and decorating.Shower in bath, very slippery. Have no idea how an older person would manage.
Excellent position. Friendly and helpful staff .
Slightly run down look on the outside .
we were travelling and needed an overnight stop near the motorway this was 5 minutes off the motorway
breakfast was disappointing
Very convenient location.Unusually for our experience of Campanile motels there were two chairs in the room.Comfortable bed.
The black-out blind was very difficult to operate. The plug was missing from the sink in the bathroom. The whole place could do with a revamp.
Generally OK for a overnight stop, but it was on an industrial estate and hence no other facilities other than those offered by the hotel. Food was reasonable, and the overall cost of the stay was good
The 2 single beds were very close together, making it difficult to walk between, so you distributed the other person in the night
Good parking, good breakfast, comfortable beds, good bathroom. Clean
Dinner was probably the worst ever had in France!
I liked easy accrss, garden view and the shutters!
Let breakfast til 10 or 11 amThose who arrive late ,don't want to stay up early.for breakfast.
Always good to find a Campanile just where you need it!
The bedroom was adapted for people with disabilities. No complaint,of course about this in principle but the bath was very small. Had we noticed this before unpacking we would have asked for another room.
Great parking, good location close to the highway. Breakfast was okay.
Evening meal was not eatable. The steak served could not even be chewed and was sent back to be replaced by a pizza. Very limited menu options in the restaurant. The bed was tucked up against the wall so one person had difficulties getting in an out of it. WE WILL NOT GO BACK
We liked the blackout blind & the comfortable bed.Two chairs for two people!
I would prefer a walk-in shower.The whole place needs a makeover - the decor is tired-looking.
Breakfast excellent. Warm welcome on arrival, very helpful staff. Dinner very mediocre
Outside woodwork in very poor condition, rotten in places. Very limited menu, no vegetarian choice. However chef did very helpfully Cook à pièce of fish for my husband who luckily does occasion all eat fish.
