Hotel du Centre - Restaurant le P'tit Gourmet

Perfect location, clean simple hotel. Nice little restaurant attached.

The receptionist who also worked in the restaurant was grumpy and unpleasant. They behaved as if everything was a problem and threw us a very dirty look when we dared to enquire gently what had happened to our main course after a 40 minute wait. It made us laugh as there was something comical about this treatment but I don’t think it’s very good for business.

The hotel was conveniently situated, not far from the route we were taking. We arrived early so we were able to visit the Cafe situated next door. Parking was available on the street outside of the hotel. Great to have a restaurant in the hotel but it wasn't open every evening.

The rooms weren't very sound proof. I heard every wake up alarm going off and every toilet being flushed.

Central location with free offstreet parking nearby available.Friendly staff.Bedroom had good modern bathroom. Especially the shower.Restaurant and breakfast good value for money.

Bed up against the wall, and the open side had no shelf or table.

Thin walls in room 25. Got woken up by neighbour on the phone in the middle of the night Terrible drainage smell in reception area downstairs

A warm welcome, easy access to the parking just opposite the hotel and a very enjoyable meal.

Relaxed atmosphere. Well-sited for visiting this part of La Bourgogne. Good food.

Stairs a little difficult to negotiate for some rooms.

The hotel was well situated for a one night stop over while driving back home from the south of France. The beds were comfortable enough.

The bedroom walls are quite thin so you can clearly here the people in the next door bedroom. The meal in the adjoining restaurant was not up to the standard we were expecting and the service was not very professional.

The bed was very comfortable and had lovely sheets and the shower was good.

There was no lift and we were on the second floor. The restaurant did not cater for vegetarians and the staff were grumpy.

Excellent for quality, staff,rooms and breakfast. Staff very courteous with older person.

Parking was not easy

The room was very comfortable with an armchair and windows that opened wide to let in fresh air. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern.Breakfast was cheap but excellent. The baguettes were top quality. It was lovely to have good fresh fruit.The hotel is in the centre of town yet quiet at night.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location is very good. Right next to the historical buildings. The room is quite decent. very close to.chablis. The staff is very friendly, even though she does not speak much English.

When you walk into the hotel, there is a damp smell.

Good hotel at the center of Tonnerre, friendly staff and good breakfast. Parking available just across the street or 2 minutes walk away. If you can't find a place in Chablis, it's only 15-minute drive to there.

Excellent restaurant on site and bike storage. Rooms were comfortable and the shower amazing.

Its a little unfair to moan about there being no air conditioning as it was one of the hottest days of the year 40C! I had arrived after a long hot day on a motorcycle and could have done with some air con as I was feeling quite ill. I had to sleep with the window open and a wet towel on me so kept getting woken buy some idiot on a load motorcycle and a party going on in the street somewhere. The food in the restaurant was below standard for a French restaurant, I had the burger and chips as it was the only thing on the menu that I fancied, and it was basically a meat patty in a bun. The restaurant staff were a little curt as well.
