Beautiful location with excellent views of the lake

Road leading there, though not resort failure, is hell. Getting in tough.Not recommended for senior citizens as very steep descents and ascent.Room kindly of nice but needs renovations and furniture change. Plumbing issues

The location of the resort is very nice but if you are looking for a quiet place, it is better to stay on one of the islands. They have a bonfire at night where you can sit and relax. The massage was very good.

The lodge is very large and it can probably be noisy when it reaches capacity. There were only a few guests when we stayed there. It needs some TLC. After ordering the dinner it took over 1 hour before the food was ready. The restaurant was not full, just one group of 8 people.

Beautiful place with good facilities and very good restaurant, the resort provides interesting boat cruise.

The environment of the Bunyonyi lake is impressing.Spacious room. Food is good, prices are reasonable.Personnel very helpful and pleasant.

Location was just amazing and the staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever met!! We did have a problem with the noise levels of other guests, and the General Manager, Brigit, was simply incredible and did all she could to apologise and rectify a problem that was not her fault. She is the best!

Unfortunately, not all guests were as considerate as they could have been which led to a few interrupted nights sleep. My bed had many creaks

Location is beautiful.

The whole mess is organised chaos. Beautiful facilities, backed by sheer incompetence. They will struggle to get a meal out in less then 2 hours if they get more then 5 customers at any one time. The management blames the workers, workers blame the management. It's a bundle of incompetence, it could be such a nice place if the establishment gave it half a chance. Dare I say, even they have given up.

Don't book your hotel through booking.com. We booked for two tents and they gave me one tent.

Don’t book through booking.com. We booked for two tents but when we reach the hotel the tents are not available. Even management doesn’t want to give the alternative rooms also, they are forcing us to pay more money for the rooms .

The rooms and tents were really nice and comfy, and the best part was the stunning view of the lake. It was nice waking up to such a beautiful sight every morning!

At check-out, the receptionist tried to charge us almost double the amount on my Booking.com reservation. After reaching out to Booking.com, they confirmed the correct amount was the one indicated on the reservation. The receptionist was generally slow and got aggressive when I discussed the price, making the experience quite poor (hence the low score). He also mentioned we're the first clients ever to complain about being charged more than the Booking.com amount. Just a heads up for anyone planning to book here – keep an eye out for unexpected charges!

Very well located, beautiful garden, large rooms with nice views. The bird-watching tour was good and our guide Godwin was very knowledgeable

We had to ask for every piece of information (e.g., none showed us around on the ample premise). There was a large group of children using the restaurant as a playground over days, with the TV on high volume. It’s good to see that the place is child-friendly, but the staff should have cared about the other guests’ needs as well (maybe it would have been an idea to use another part of the huge garden as a playground). Some of the offered activities seem to be overpriced. Breakfast was just okay, we would have expected more breakfast options (e.g., more muesli/granola options (yoghurt etc.) instead of bread and eggs). All in all, the value for money was below expectations

Nice, quiet place at the lake. Option for swimming. The tents are basic but have a beautiful view on the lake. Nice garden.

I loved the setting, the view and the customer service. The staff were so friendly and welcomed us on the first day. The accomodation was clean. I loved that it has a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. I really enjoyed their food.

While the location was beautiful the room a bit outdated for the price. We had stayed in other locations during our time for less and the rooms were more updated. The furniture was old and there were no working outlets. We were also told it was more money than what we booked for so we just upgraded from tent (which was very, very basic) to rooms.
