Located within the historic walls of the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Hotel Slavija offers free internet, a 24-hour reception, and air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. Most of the bright and comfortable rooms offer private balconies with panoramic views of Split. The rooms overlook church towers, narrow Dalmatian streets and some rooms have views on the Marjan Hill. Guests can start their day with the continental breakfast served each morning in the restaurant or in the room, and the service is free of charge. Guests of the Slavija enjoy reductions at some of the nearby restaurants. The port of Split and the main train and bus station are 984 feet away. The airport bus stops 656 feet away. The Slavija Hotel is right next to the Jupiter Sanctuary, and only 131 feet from Split Cathedral.

Pros +
- The hotel was in the center of the old town. You could walk to the Ferry. There were many great food choices very close. The personal tour they helped set us up with was also excellent
- The staff was very, very helpful to locate a restaurant nearby. They were especially kind talk with us about transportation to our next day's travel.
Cons -
- It was one of the few hotels that did not provide a refrigerator in the room.
