Malaga Hotel

Breakfast and diner were very good. Room was only average and urgently needs improvement (renovation), especially the bathroom.Location was great, with very nice garden.

Bathroom was simple and very much outdated

The room was exactly what I expected.The staff was friendly and understood us very well in terms of what we required or expected.

One thing that we did not like with our room was that we did not have the fridge as shown in the pictures and we enquired about it and we only got it on our last night. Our last day breakfast was not what we expected, we expected to have a buffet breakfast like our first morning, but we were then told that there were not many guests and therefore we should order from the menu of which we did not like.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Malaga Hotel over the weekend, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and hassle-free.The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I also really appreciated the little touches – from the fresh linens to the complimentary refreshments.The hotel’s location is fantastic, with easy access to the highway (N4) , yet still peaceful and relaxing. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape or a base to explore the area, Malaga Hotel is a perfect choice.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

This hotel is superb! I love how conveniently located it is next to the N4 highway; after checking out, the highway was less than 30 seconds away. I also love the fact that the property is well managed, and that everything that needs to be communicated, is done so with efficiency and ease.

After flushing, my toilet would make a noise that would stay on for a while.

We were looking for overnight accommodation as a pitstop to Hazyview. What a gem we found.... The staff were brilliant from check in, to waiters, to cleaners and gardeners. The food was immaculate. Would highly reccomend a stay here. We will definitely visit again. Tranquil and peaceful.

Brilliant, the hospitality was awesome. The food was great, location perfect and the rooms were clean. The fire outside the restaurant at night topped it off.

The water was not hot and we were asked to go shower in another unit , this just made it inconvenience.

Great facility, love the aesthetic of the place, rooms are clean and the garden view is everything.

Area and staff

Got dirty towels when we got there, one bed had a broken leg

The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Great views as well. The staff were friendly and efficient, from Refilwe who assisted from the booking until we checked out, to Fufu in the restaurant and the bar including the cleaning staff.

The little downside is that it's remote; if you're traveling with kids and you urgently need shops you have to travel more than 30 kilometers because the nearby towns don't have much variety.

Place in serious need of renovation and maybe better management.Breakfast was terrible! Pool was not clean, swing was broken, hike was closed. Supper I was served uncooked pork belly.

Swimming pool need to be cleaned. Room 202 bathroom need to be upgraded. Need to place toilet Bruch in bathroom. Need to get better WiFi.

Wanted to have a braai on the first day they ddnt want to instead wanted to charge me 38 for them to braai my meat.The house keeping only came around 13:00 after asking them to come at 10:00Had to bag them for suger and tea bags for the day which only came at 14:00.

The location and the quietness of the place was awesome we had fun and recharged.Just wish there was alot we could do within the facilities.

The pool was too small and often got overcrowded,The rooms need a bit of attention.. it was very clean but toilet had a bit of a smell and maybe use stronger detergents.

I appreciated the courtesy the receptionist engaged with me as there was confusion with rooms. He managed to solve the matter as I was also cooperating. His problem solving skills were applied accordingly. The staff were very friendly and helpful to guests.

I would recommend that next Christmas lunch to have 2 puddings, Instead of 1

umm our room had some police belongings and the other neighbors woke us up early because of the noise they were making and the pool lights other than that thank you we had an amazing experience

The Hotel is well kept.There location is good for relaxing and having fun.For entertainment we rented mountain bikes and Padel rackets. There were so much fun.The Hotel organized a picnic for us, what i describe as a special moment at the waterfall. This was the highlight of our celebration weekend.

All forgotten, nothing that was not resolved.
