The glass between the bedroom and bathroom, took me by surprise, I didn’t understand its importance there

The Hotel is at least clean

Poor service and they abuse a staff member that can barely speak english to run both reception and the restaurant in the mornings.

The gardens are beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful and it was well positioned to our work needs.

The location is close to a company that we are purchasing

The quality of the food and a lack of sufficient staff at dinner time. We were 10 people at our table and placed our orders at 17h30 and received our food at 19h30.

What an amazing gem. From check in to check out, everything exceeded expectation. Rooms are very spacious, hotel staff are accommodating and friendly. They go over and above. Great value for money.

From the day we arrived till we left we felt at home it was so peaceful and cozy the staff is amazing. The food was also very good. Rooms big and very clean. I would recommend Merchant to anyone that needs to go down for business.

Our second stay. Security is excellent- wifi good - staff outstanding and helpful. It was the beginning of the 'year' so just firing up - no complaints.

The lady who was serving us breakfast was very helpful and friendly. However i would like to suggest more options when it comes to food choices for breakfast. some people dont eat pork and only pork sausage was available amongst eggs and bacon.

The breakfast was just normal nothing fancy. The hotel itself was nice, but the access was a problem as google maps/navigator directed me to the back gate and the old security building there looked shabby or rather scary and required some cleaning.

Everything was calmAnd inviting and clean-staff was incredibly helpful and the food was delicious. Perfect place to stay over to be able to get some work done as well!!

Friendly professional staff - clean and comfortable, had everything we needed.

We were made to feel very welcome despite being very nearly their last guests for the year. The impact of having FULL power seamlessly backing up automatically is highly commendable. We had a good meal and chef pulled out all stops to look after us. The room was very comfortable and spotless.

No fridge in the room, no reception on arrival, no drinks allowed, but no facility open to buy.
