    Pros +

    • when arriving at 3pm our room was not ready, but we got a similar room to the one we booked. However the room selected for us had guests that smoked in the room, they knew this but still put us in this room. We are not smokers so the smell was quite bad and it affected my husbands sleep. The carpets were dirty, aircon did not work well, the windows had smudges on them.Just did not get a good feel about the place. Staff need some "Customer Service" Training.
    • Spa treatments and staff were lovely
    • The spa pools excellent ??Good excellent service ??

    Cons -

    • The Breakfast was nicely arranged and a nice variety.
    • On my wedding day, they would not let me have a take away breakfast. instead I had to embarrassingly go sit and eat in front of both strangers and wedding guests with rollers in my hair, make up half done. They were not accommodating at all
    • The shower in the bath , like it separate, BUT loved it, big shout to Staff ✅?

Breakfast was fine but had to go early before it was swampped with people.

The rooms are very dated and certainly not worth the money. The Pool view was not worth it. Lighting in the room was bad. Shower was temperature was not constant.

    View and the springs

The fact that people entered room without permission we caught and just said no no no when asked why in room when management came they said we called for coffee and a roll of tp. Um ok when did they get a phone line from the mineral spring to reception? And no, you aren't supposed to have a cell phone with so we did not take them. This happened not once but twice after the 2nd time we left after hour of conversation with manager on duty.

The hot springs were nice but some were harder than others to find. It was unclear by the decription that breakfast was included. It was included and it was really good, but we didn't know until we were about to check out. We had dinner at one of the restaurants near the casino and didn't love it.

We thought the grounds were well kept and looked good even with all the rain we have had.

Break time not enough coffee mugs so many people asking for mugs all the time. 1 gent waited 10 min before he got a cup.? Coffee machine was good but to slow for the amount of people at breakfast time. Over all we think hotel needs a major revamp. Definitely not worth the money we paid. Is there a reason for the algae in the pools rather unpleasant. As we said being there done that's not again

Breakfast was not good quality food. Unhealthy fried food everyday. I requested poached eggs for breakfast everydaywith wholewheat toast. Everything else was sub standard.

The hotel room was nice and clean, beds were comfy and the breakfast was really good quality for a buffet. The stand out is obviously the hot springs which are just amazing to visit in winter.

The bathrooms could do with some renovations, I think the time for standing in your bath to take a shower has come and gone. Some guests were a bit noisy coming back to their rooms late at night. Maybe a few signs around to ask people to be quiet after 22:00 would be nice.

    The pools

The hotel parking was far from the hotel. No room serviceBreakfast - Understaffed. Resulting in long queues (min 20min wait for an egg) You have to wait for staff to prepare a table for you to sit.

    7JacquelinePosted on: 5-21-2025

The breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from and the coffee/cappucino machine is a good idea.

The evening meal in the restaurant was very expensive for what was given, the" boushe amuse" was not necessary and the meal was not offered with any accompanied vegetables which had to be ordered after the meal arrived. The salad was fresh but very basic.

The service and hot springs. The place was not perfect but was for my purposes. Lots of stairs. Not good for wheelchairs. Some ramps. If you have mobility issues have them golf cart you up to the spa. Don’t forget your towel from the hotel counter. Long trip there and back if you forget. Pools can be crowded. Good news, the spa opens for hotel guest 1hour earlier. Like the temp options of the pools and do explore the spa spaces and garden area. Lots to check out.

Sticky stained carpet. Sticky table top from years of cleaning. Room was tired and dated. It was clean and the bed(not the pillows) comfortably. Casino seemed tried with 5 reel slots and I didn’t know the table games other than roulette

Gorgeous views from our room, pool area and nature walking trail. Mineral water was amazing for our skin. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is delicious and has so many options to choose from. Non-halaal served separately. Beds are comfy.

Da Vinci is a halaal friendly restaurant, no halaal food options for lunch and supper, you have to drive outside the resort. No microwave in the room to heat food. Pools are far from hotel so the walk with wet clothing isn't great, changing rooms & bathrooms next to the gym are full and floors always wet - No cleaning staff on duty.

The complex is just lovely. The hotel staff were helpful.

I booked through booking.com for 4 adults and 2 children 9 and 2 years. The site said no family rooms and I had to book 3 double rooms. on arrival I was told family rooms were available. Also there are stairs and long corridors to the dining areas. My husband has limited mobility so.its worth checking if this applies to you. overall though we had a lovely brief stay and would book again..but with the hotel next time!

    7PenelopePosted on: 4-30-2025

Springs open after day guests left.

Access to restaurants. Noisy and only one open.

    4AntheaPosted on: 4-29-2025

Breakfast was awesome - with room for improvement on pastries and flapjacks, as well as the availability of mushrooms.I loved that there is something for everyone to do in terms of the casino, games centre, hot and cold pools, gym/sauna/steam room.

    1. The number of day visitors was overwhelming as there was not enough space for us as hotel guests in the hot pools up the mountain. We were limited to the floatation pool and the pond pool as those were not popular with day visitors.2. The rooms are DATED and are in desperate need of renovation - especially after 20 years.3. The hotel guests that occupied the last 5 rooms downstairs (opposite the cold pool bar), were raucous on both nights through till 4 & 5am, with loud conversations, arguments and banging doors - this is NOT OK, as at other establishments there is a strict no noise after 10pm policy - why is this not the case at Caledon Hotel and Spa?

The hot springs and the breakfast beautiful. The gardens is well maintained. I love the tranquility of the beautiful gardens.

The pools of. Hot Springs bottom very slippery need some scrubbing down or descaling and foot paths up to the hot springs need some scrubbing down very slippery. Maybe add slip resistant strips to steps. Otherwise it's perfect
