Beautiful view and delicious breakfast

Carpet in my room felt sticky and dirty. There was an empty beer can under my bed that our 1 year old picked up and put to her mouth.

The breakfast was great.

There was no wifi available, and this was not communicated to us on check in. The telephone in the room was not working in room 50The noise from other guests were very unpleasant at the pool area until late.

this place has the potential to be very good , just need qualified management.

The guest in the hotel made very load noise (screaming) in passages from early till 3h00 in the Morning hours and the hotel manager or night staff was not present to control the people how had to much to drink.

Restaurants in walking distance from the hotel are great! Isabella's is a great eating experience. Thanks to the hotel staff who gave us the information.The Gannet birds at Birts island are ones in a lifetime experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

The building and rooms are old but is part of the experience.

Breakfast was in order. Freshly prepared to our liking. The staff who served us was friendly and helpful.

this was the only disappointing aspect. When we checked in the lady at reception told us that breakfast is from 7h00. At 7 there was no one all talking at reception and very unhappy that we are so early. we felt unwelcome.

Beautiful garden area around the pool with braai facilities.There are also a few dog friendly rooms.What a bonus.

Good old fashioned country stay and friendly staff.

Water pressure in shower was a bit low, but the water was warm and the hand held shower helped solve the problem

It was close to Bird Island and harbour restaurants but the sheds in front detracted from the overall impression.

We had a great time everything was great, all our needs were available everything was clean and smelled good and fresh, the breakfast great, Jannes was great all the staff were friendly we will stay again for next visit, Dalton's Secunda Mapumalanga

Clean, comfortable old hotel very close to the harbour and restaurants.

May they can move some trees its making to much shade on the pool than it gets to cold to swim

At first glance, the hotel doesn't seem to align with its status as a landmark building by the harbour. However, it offers impeccable cleanliness, outstanding staff, and excellent comfort. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It's not something I personally dislike, but for those who haven't lived by the coast, the scent of fish tends to be a common characteristic of most coastal towns.

BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD,THE SWIMMING POOL AND AREA WAS NON FUNCTIONAL, CHAIRS COVERED IN BIRD POO THE PARKING AREA WAS VERY GOOD WITH COVERED PARKING.

Old hotel but neat and clean with an exceptional breakfast and friendly staff!

Our room was situated next to Police station and block flats where Police staff reside. They were very noisy (party & music)right through the night and our sleep was interrupted! We stayed for 2 nights and both nights were noisy.

Close proximity to beach and restaurants.

Outside entertainment area and swimming pool unclean. Too dirty to swim.

Location, in walkable distance from restaurants, shops, medical care. Breakfast included in room price. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I booked 2 family rooms for our family trip.I did talk to the hotel directly as I booked 1 extra person on bookings. But when we booked in, the one room only had 1 single and 1 double bed.The receptionist who was currently working (not the one I spoke to before) was helpful and arranged a single room on the ground floor for my aunt, who struggles to walk. Thank you.The breakfast was great.Close to all the restaurants.
