The Lodge Hotel

We stayed in Borovets over the weekend and were very satisfied with the accommodation. The staff was kind and helpful, the apartment comfortable, and the hotel is located right next to the Yastrebets gondola, which was very convenient for us since we went to climb Musala as a family. We would be happy to come back again!

It’s a pity that the restaurant was closed, but we understand that during the summer season hotels in Borovets are less busy. Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so this was not a big drawback.

I had a wonderful stay at The Lodge Hotel Borovets. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with excellent mattresses that guarantee a good night’s sleep after a day in the mountains. The views from the rooms are beautiful, giving a real alpine atmosphere. Parking is convenient and well-organized, which made arrival and departure stress-free. Another big plus is the location – the hotel is just a short walk from the mountain lift, perfect for both skiing and summer activities. Overall, a great choice for comfort, convenience, and easy access to climb the Musala Peak.

One small area for improvement would be the bathrooms, which could use some repairs and updating of lighting, as well as refreshing the towels. With these details improved, the overall experience would be absolutely perfect.

Not fully furnished for 1 bed apartment. Not self-contained. Missing necessities, no kitchen, tiny minibar instead of fridge.

Damaged T.V and closet. The technician never showed up to repair them.

Perfect location, specious room, in the center but very quiet. Good breakfast.

None of the night lamps was working, so we couldn't read a book before sleep. No alternative was provided.

The rooms were huge, with 2 bedrooms

Lack of kitchen. Such large apartments for large family must include a minimal kitchen with sink, collection of cups, plates and spoons.

The location of the hotel is great and has free parking

Upon check-in, we were informed that the lift only goes up to the 4th floor, and we had to carry our bags up to the 5th floor, which was extremely inconvenient especially for me, as I’m pregnant.When we entered the room, the floor and shower were covered in hair, which was unacceptable. On our second day, the jacuzzi wasn’t working, and on the third day, both the lift and spa were out of order. To make matters worse, the entire hotel was without water for two hours in the evening.I requested to be moved to another room, as climbing multiple flights of stairs 3–5 times a day was very difficult for me. However, I was told, “Well, the category you booked is only on the 5th floor. All other rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are much more expensive.” I explained that it wasn’t our fault that the lift wasn’t working and I’m pregnant. They told us to wait for the engineer, who was expected that day, but by evening, nothing had been fixed.After another conversation, they finally moved us to an apartment but did so with a dismissive attitude, saying, “Well, you know, it’s more expensive, so I really hope you’ll enjoy it.” However, when we entered the “apartment,” it was barely any bigger just about 5 square meters more, with an extra sofa and TV. Worse, the room was filthy, with hair all over the carpet and sofas.

It is super close to the ski chars and the spa and restaurant are pretty good.

Jacuzzi wasn’t working when I was there which is basically one of the main spa attractions as it is a small spa. That was disappointing. Water in the pool was rather cool for a spa also.

Perfect location. Excellent food Good staff. They prepared a snack for us because we left at night.

It was perfect! Centrally located, fab rooms, lots of space. Nice to have more room for a family of 5. Good food in restaurant, breakfast was perfect’ facilities with the pool and spa were lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly, already planning next year!

The best choice to stay in Borovets! Right next to the gondola lift! In the basement, you can find a ski rental and depot. Just wear your boots and walk 30m to the lift station. Very clean, great breakfast. Cosy and elegant!

Great locationVery spacious room

There was a leak under the bathroom sink which caused a little pond in the floor each time we used it. We reported it to the reception and nothing was done about it.The room is spacious but not very practical. It’s impossible to control temperature - we had to open windows at -10 degrees because it was too hot.

The location was really good (close to the gondole, close to restaurants, not too far from the centre), the hotel felt cozy, the breakfast was really good, the staff was friendly and helpful abd the view on the 3rd floor was amazing.

The pool is rather small (it goes from 0.8m to 1.4m and is difficult to swim in water below 1m) - not more than 3 people could swim at once. The ventilation in the bathroom did not work. In the hallway of the room there could have been something to help get undressed (a hanger, a bench maybe, tiles for the wet shoes)

Located next to main Gondola. Had a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub. Everything large hotels provide, but in a small boutique hotel. Quite quiet but equally quite relaxing. Met our expectations. Restaurant was very quiet but actually quite good. Loved warm pastries/ bread for breakfast

Size of room was great , staff were exceptionally helpful, location in relation to lift and all amenities was excellent, price was reasonable

The room and hotel itself was very clean, only annoying issue was that housekeeping did not fully replace dirty cups each day with new cups, but seemed to just rinse them in the sink and put them back. However, the quality of everything else was so high we could forgive this one minor issue.
