Pros +
- It was in a beautiful location, and the staff was very helpful with advice on planning/booking fun adventures. It’s a really cool vibe—free sauna, Billards, jukebox, yummy breakfast buffet (included with some rooms), dinner buffet 20€/person is fair. I recommend taking a room (we had A5) and don’t take a Mökki cabin. Though Mökkis have their own saunas, you have to pay extra for sheets, cleaning, and breakfast, and they feel a bit dark and closed in. We originally had booked a Mökki and exchanged it when we got there.

- not only the best hotel we stayed in Finland, but one of the best hotels in all our travels. The sauna was fantastic. Canoeing on the lake was awesome. We ate on the deck overlooking the lake. It was a great hotel.
Cons -
- Nothing!
- nothing bad to note.
- The breakfast was just average, but versatile enough.

Ecolodge was really nice place to stay overnight. I really enjoyed the he view to the lake from big window. The sauna was really good as well. I used both saunas and liked them a lot. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful room, nice common sauna and good breakfast.
Lack of finnish speaking personel may cause problems for somebody
Beautiful lakeside location very close to Hossa National Park. Everyone working there was very nice.
The rooms all face west (which provides a great view of the lake) but in summer sun, there needs to be black out curtains. It was difficult to sleep.
Location, facilities and especially the sauna next to the lake.
No fridge in the room, but we knew that beforehand.
Budget friendly, basic accommodation. Great for a peaceful, simple break. Great location and beautiful layout of grounds for guests to enjoy the scenery.
Smaller than expected. Extremely stuffy in summer with no fan. Nothing to block out the sunlight at night. The place wasn't equipped to help guests when storm caused powercut - eg water supplies or gas canisters or generator.
The staff was really good and made you feel at home. Marlene the new manager was exceptional and treated the guests really well. The bar was also amazing.
the rooms were a little small.
Environment peqceful. Midsummer fire
The cottage too small.
The service was amazing and the location was beautiful. The view from the room was also nice.
An addition of a small fridge in the rooms would be nice and maybe a coffee machine.
Good value for money. Cabins would need a bit of refurbish! We had two mice in the trap? One heater did not work. Excellent breakfast and dinner!
We enjoyed the saunas and swimming in the lake every day. It was possible to charge the electric car and the breakfast was delicious as well.
We loved the wooden sauna by the lake. Big windows and nice view from our lodge. Great breakfast!
The panorama that can be seen from the room is wonderful. Then, having the opportunity to have a sauna and dive into the lake is a unique experience.Highly recommended!!
Very nice cabin, friendly staff, great location.
Breakfast could be better.
Good breakfast. Great choice of preserves and breads, sometimes short of sausages, no bananas and Karjalanpiirakka - typical Finnish rice cake to be eaten with egg butter.Electric and wood saunas on the beach. Very well kept.
I liked breakfast but I'll add a few items.
Sauna and the staff
Better curtains for the room as it is quite light in the summer.
The location is excellent and the views superb! The room was modern and clean. Bilberries in front of our terrace and a reindeer wandering around ...
Big windows give a nice view but in summer the room becomes very warm and there is no window to open. The provided towels could have been larger.
The saunas are excellent, especially the wooden sauna! Good breakfast, and the rooms are comfortable, some even with a lake view.
