Friendly staff

No air conditioner (we visited in a very hot days of summer).

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was exceptional. We enjoyed the dining atmosphere and the views from the dining room windows.

The highway was part of our window view in our room. It detracted slightly from the overall ambience.

Good location for a stop while on the road.

The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but really well kept and spotless clean.

Staff was very nice and room super clean and the breakfast really nice except for the bread..

The bread was not fresh at breakfast and the noise from the road notable at night

Excellent hotel with everything you might need. The hotel staff were very friendly. Room was cosy, clean, with all you need. The breakfast was super tasty with good food quality. We will definetely stay here here in case we travel in this direction again. Thank you, we loved the surroundings as well, snowy frosty evening was a great for a walk.

A great stopover point on a motorcycle trip. Comfortable hotel with enjoyable food and very amenable owners. Great location in a very rural setting but good access to main roads.

the staff doesn’t speak English at all, so it’s a bit tricky to communicate (needed to use google translator) - but they are kind, very weak wifi, no lift only stairs

Quaint, cozy, snuggled in between the hills. A regular hotel like you would expect it on a more frequented road through the alps. Amazing restaurant with amicable staff, decent parking right in front of the door

Remote location.. not near much...no stores or grocery around

Location is nice - small town in the mountains north of San Bernardino pass. Breakfast was good. Freshly made, including coffee. The hotel has the only restaurant in town - decent food.

Beautiful location. Even though it was on the main road we did not hear anything. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the rooms are super clean. The restaurant has decent food and there was a lovely fire in the main restaurant area. Excellent value for money - we will visit again!

We booked two rooms during our 4-day skiing trip to Splügen, which is a mere 5-minute drive from the slopes. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I was able to drop my skis off 2 days before our arrival and again leave our gear for an extra couple of days after our stay. When we asked for some hot water to make tea, the hotel manager gave us a little kettle!After a full day's skiing, it was wonderful to have a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant and the free breakfast was also sufficient and good to set us up for the day. Although the bathrooms were a bit old-fashioned, the water pressure was amazing so that showering was a real luxury.I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with kids as an unpretentious, easy-going, friendly and perfect stay.

It was the perfect stay on my way to Italy. I loved the location in the mountains, the view, the atmosphere and the good food :)The service was friendly and very welcoming and I felt like home straight away. Pretty sure you can spend more days here and do some lovely hikes. But as I was just passing it was perfect to get some rest and a good night sleep
