So clean, nice and comfortable. Wonderful and welcoming staff. Free parking. Excellent food and service.

Breakfast was delicious. They even served us cooked to order eggs and bacon. Anna was a gracious host. She was very kind and ensured we got a double room instead of an unneeded triple.

We loved just about everything! The room was clean and modern. The view was stunning and the food was excellent.The service was very professional and so friendly.

My husband and I loved staying here on our vacation. We arrived in the rain so were unable to use the outdoor seating, but boy it would have been amazing with the view! The hotel is 10 minutes from Glarus, so we drove there for supper that night. The room was quiet and had a nice view out the window of the mountains and a green knoll. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Free parking is always a nice bonus.

The only thing that was a little annoying was that the city tax was not included in the booking payment, so we had to deal with that in the morning separately at checkout.

Breathtaking spot! Clean rooms and very nice staff. Perfect for our 2 day stay exploring the area.

Bathroom sink wasn't draining well and when we asked for it to be fixed we were told they couldn't do anything about it.

The staff was very attentive and the menu in the restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced. But foremost we were looking for the tranquility and location and got not disappointed.

Nothing to 'not like'. As a small group, we did daily road trips and upon return, we were looking for a place to play games or chat.after restaurant closing hours this was the 'community room' equipped with a bench, table and chairs and one TV, fridge and a coffee maker. Things the bedrooms are not equipped with.

Very comfortable beds in a gorgeous setting. The meals were lovely and the staff were warm and accommodating.

The rooms are quite small but brand new and nice decorated. The bathroom is very nice. Location of the hotel is great. Hotel is nice and quiet. Very friendly staff. Free parking and good Wi-Fi. In conclusion : a good choice.

The hotel is, in fact, a beautifully renovated cottage. Consequently, the rooms are not to big and the balcony has approx. 2 square meters. So the value for money is not the best one (although it seems that, in Switzerland, "value for money" is a little bit … different than the rest of Europe).

There’s no sunlight in this valley in winter. The mountains obscure it. It’s a comfortable and well run hotel but because no one goes to this valley in winter there’s very few guests. This means that the restaurant shuts at 18:00 and it’s quite dead there. Nice if you like the peace and quiet. Would recommend only going when it’s not winter.

Scenic location ,hospitable staff and host is very friendly. We booked a gum rowboat and enjoyed the lake. Calm and cosy atmosphere. Great outside area with lake view. Room was tidy and clean.

The property location is nothing short of idyllic. All five of the staff we met bent over backwards to feed us excellent food, even out of hours of serving. A wonderful place to stay.

There was no milk available for breakfast.For breakfast some fruits, vegetables and eggs would be nice.The communication that the restaurant was closed, was not well communicated in the initial email. It was mentioned it is closed on weekdays off-season, but not on the weekend. So we had to eat dinner in the city.
