    • It’s amazing. Almost impossible to explain. First is the village - a tiny, ancient, beautiful location with graffiti decorated houses. Then there is the magic of the hotel. It is so characterful and charming. Walls and ceilings are carved timber. The dining room is stunning. The lounge is comfortable especially with the fire going. Food is superb for dinner and breakfast. Staff are delightful. It ‘s unique.
    • Such a stunning location, a peaceful and unspoilt village among meadows of wild flowers. Staff were really helpful and friendly. And all meals delicious.

Breakfast was great with lots of variety. I will say that you had to get there early to get the best bread selection. The breads/croissants did not appear to be replenished midway through the fast hours. Dining room amazing. Food great. Staff personable. Loved eating outside and the service was good out there. Our room was beautiful and comfortable.

Could not figure out how to get the room nightlights to come on. Perhaps there could be some instructions. You might consider an evening dress code in the dining room. Too many people in shorts and tee shirts, especially on weekends.
