They of course switched to new ones when we asked about it.The persons in the reception gave a picture of not caring about the guests, no smile, no chitchat. But they did their job well.
- The room smelled like an abandoned old wooden house can smell.
- On the second night there was a party in the bar until 2.30 we could not sleep.

Good location, stylish building, fine rooms
The hotel bar kept playing loud music until 01:40 in the morning, making it impossible to sleep. At about 08:00 the breakfast music started. We left the hotel completely exhausted. Reception staff arrived in the morning only and knew nothing about it. We will not be coming back.
Cosy historic hotel in the middle of Marstrand. Breakfast area lovely. Will stay again. Also booked last minuted, very helpful staff.

No handrail on entrance into hotel. Breakfast not until 8 on Sunday.

Shower handle fixture loose so not able to shower properly. Rarely people in reception so had to use phone to call someone. Breakfast ok, but coffee too basic - would have expected to have a wider variety of selections.
Breakfaat was good with feash food and wide choice. Great location and beautifully restored hotel.
Just to be aware there is no aircon so keep blinds down in the days if its sunny and open windows at night
Lovingly renovated building in the centre of Marstrand. We had a decent sized room with a (shared) balcony and views across the harbour
It was very hot at night (in September) and we were reluctant to open the windows because we were on the ground floor.
The hotel has a lot of history and the location is great.
The hotel has seen better days, the breakfast is average and cleanliness is questionable at times.
