Lovely place to stay! The atmosphere was interesting and authentic, the staff really friendly, and breakfast delicious and rich. Would definitely recommend!

Breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly.

When I booked the stay the pictures of the rooms or the info didn’t mention the newer part of the hotel. Our room wasn’t in the main house and it was somewhat different than the ones in the pictures.

The house is very beautiful. Breakfast was excellent.

Hotel restaurang was a disappoinment. Meal I ordered was wrongly over spiced and I did not expect frozen industrually made chipsies at those prices! Problem was discussed later and I got compensation to the price but that did not completely wipe off my flat experience.

Lovely quiet location, spacious and clean rooms. A touch of the old.A great and enjoyable dinner and a good breakfast.

Old musty smell in the rooms. Too warm to sleep in the rooms. Too basic for the prices.

The first night the bed was a bit unruly due to à loose leg. The problem was fixed the following day.

Spent two nights at the hotel. At first we were very dissapointed. The room we got was nothing like the photos, and was in very bad shape. But we contacted the very nice lady working in the reseption, and she got us a new room, which was a lot better. Hotel is ok. Nice surroundings. Very nice staff. Very good food, but a bit pricey.

As soon as we got a new room, everything was good. But the first room we got really shouldnt be rented out.

HIstorical building, very nicely restorated. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Great dinner and breakfast. Very close to the National park and many hiking trails.

Charming old mansion, a little worn but the atmosphere really good and welcoming. Fine restaurant and a really good breakfast. Our room had very comfortable beds.

Nothing really ... a little worn and some parts in need of some paint and love ... but nothing that bothered us.

the bathroom was tired and not high end as I expected and it looked like it belonged in a nursing home with its disabled toilet ( which was dirty when we arrived) so was the sink with hairs the corridors in the main part was beautiful but turning into the bedroom corridor was a huge disappointment plain again hospital looking , there was early morning walking above us fairly loud, no evening meal was available we knew in advance and brought sandwiches, there is parking near the rooms but it was obvious right away very strange big lamp shade from the ceiling above the bed

Very cosy facilities with really nice staff, amazing interior and a pleasant room. Ate a nice dinner and enjoyed the outdoor veranda before going around the mansion looking at the different rooms which were all very pretty. The room kept a good overall standard, better than the images foretold.

The bathroom is a bit outdated and shows some signs of wear. The pipes made some sounds after flushing, but otherwise it was clean and worked well all around. This is the only thing pulling down on the grade.

The breakfast had all I wanted, it was fresh and we enjoyed sitting outside . The staff was nice. The room might a bit dated, but it was very clean. I would choose to stay here again if I'm going to be in that area. Value for money and it was quiet at night

For the price I paid there's not much to complain about. Needs a bit of fixing here and there, but I rather stay at places like these than big hotel chains. The tv didnt have any channels, so if tv is important that might be one thing to check before booking ? We weren't interested in looking so for us it wasn't a biggie, and we didn't complain or nothing. But worth to mention because tv is almost mandatory in hotelrooms ;)
