Hotel Montrubí 1771 - Slow Winery Hotel - Adults only

I spent an amazing weekend at this hotel with my friends. From the very beginning, the staff’s service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The surroundings are simply magical, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the moment. The rooms were spacious, super comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. In short, it was a spectacular experience that we would definitely repeat. Highly recommended!

Didn’t stay long enough.

Old world charm with a top notch staff. Food and wine were exceptional. Location was perfect with wonderful grounds to walk and enjoy. Del Pendes Villafranca was a quick drive but if you enjoy peace and tranquility Hotel Montrubi is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We cannot thank the staff enough for their hospitality and ability to make our experience as enjoyable as possible.

The food. Felt like they were trying to be fancy but the food was so mediocre. Would have been better going mid range and making it delicious. Really disliked all the food and we spent a lot of money. Also, being out of half the items on the menu was silly.

The food was excellent, the waiters as well and so friendly, but the setting in the dining hall could have been a little bit more cosy with more lighted candles and a softer light from the ceiling.

A charming hotel nestled amidst picturesque vineyards. Located in an ancient house that has been meticulously preserved and restored. Every detail in the room has been thoughtfully considered, creating a beautiful and pleasant atmosphere. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was excellent, adding to the amazing experience of the place. The overall stay combines historic charm with modern comfort and exceptional dining in a stunning vineyard setting.

Very quiet, very well maintained and truly pleasant, with good food and a more than acceptable variety of wines.

Stunning location for one/two romantic nights at a vineyard with amazing dinner and breakfast. You get more than you pay for.

The staff is awesome, the location, and the whole atmospher.This place is my favorite to rest.The restaurant is really good too and they do everything to accomodate you.

It was a real shame that the pool was so dirty. We found out it was from the tractor blowing up clouds of dirt but such a shame

Room was very comfortable, we loved the breakfast on the terrace with the view of the vineyards. Walks around the estate were exceptional.

The food was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. It's probably due to the fact we are vegetarianas and there were not many options, so for staying two nights we had to find another solution for dinner the second night.

Many wines to taste from the surrounding vineyard, beautiful views and surroundings. Also thr casa itself was very authentic and chic. The sommelier was a hit - broad knowledge and superb English.

The food was our biggest dissapointment. Value for money was quite low, staff spoke very little English, meals were bad. E.g. 5 small prawns as a starter for 28€ seems steep. The taste was also not good. Best meals were the charcuterie board and other things that do not require any cooking. Also were promised a cake for my wive's bday, did not receive any.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food, wine, and service were exceptional. It was wonderful to swim, being surrounded by vineyards.

The location is ideal - only 1 hour drive from Barcelona and in a very quiet area between two mountains. It was equally peaceful and beautiful - we loved looking over the grape vines while drinking wine. The property was gorgeous, simple classy style and very well kept. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The staff was so accommodating and friendly - everyone seems genuinely happy and proud to work there. We did a vineyard tour and learned about the various wines they make in Penedes - topped off with some wine tasting and food pairings. We could've stayed longer! We would recommend this accommodation to absolutely anyone, especially if you are looking for a countryside get-a-way. You won't go wrong by booking Casa Gran!

Honestly, nothing could have been better. We loved the music the first day the most (beach vibe playlist with some Polo & Pan mixed in). However, on the other days they played classic / jazz which we didn't like that much.

difficulty in locating it - Google maps didn’t work well - there were no road signs - why not provide written directions on website - poor lighting in shower - uneven quality of the food- some served just warm as if it had been waiting for the rest of the order to be ready- warm not hot coffee one day -

Absolute gem and a place to visit. Should get 11/10 for excellent service and astonishing venue. The rooms are so private and state of the art. One must spend 2 days or more to really to appreciate the place. Wine, food and breakfast was excellent.

Nôthing. The hotel is in a more rural area but the airport is 1 hour away . Not so desolated.
