    Pros +

    • The hotel was very nice and the staff super friendly. It is a bit old, but the prices are okay and the breakfast is good. We really liked that had an area just to hang out, common area, that was great. The rooms also were nice and clean and with a good view(some of us had a small balcony). The location was perfect as well, if you’re coming by car, it’s just going up to the ski area, super fast. We are happy with our stay. (8 people trip)
    • Nice room and competent staff, close to supermarkets and in the city centre. The breakfast was good and we were very satisfied of the dinner we had at hotel's restaurant!
    • El Pilar is conveniently located on main route to mountain hiking trails, but also central to shops and restaurants. Parking is available across the street. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The bar and restaurant do a lively local business. Breakfast is remarkably varied, daily selection of fresh fruit, cooked eggs and bacon, cold meats and cheeses and breads and cereals and yogurt.

    Cons -

    • Dinner starts at 20:30 at the hotel. A bit too late so sadly we did not eat there other meals but breakfast.
    • Rooms very basic and you can hear other rooms flushing toilets walls very thin
    • It was perfect, never a one star, much better .

Very nice hotel, well located. Our room was nice and quiet, and very clean. Nicole and Maria at the reception desk are super friendly!

This is a very basic no frills hotel but you get what you pay for. The staff are lovely and very helpful and there is secure parking on site if you require it. The beds were comfy. Breakfast is included and it is ok. We had a great coffee at the bar in the afternoon, courtesy of a lovely Australian lady working at the hotel.

The food was very ordinary that we had for dinner. If it hadn't been off season we would have eaten elsewhere but there were very limited options available. This was unfortunate as we had read other reviews about the food being good, it wasn't.

Great friendly staff and good value . Rooms need modernisation and bathroom very small

Breakfast and dinner were great. The staff was very nice and helpful with any questions. There is a big room to hang out.

Nothing to complain about really. My single room was kind of small, but that's what i expected tbh.

They accommodated a large group reservation made at the last minute (the day before) due to an emergency change of plans. The menu dinner was not fine dining but was a good value.

    8AndreaPosted on: 8-31-2023

The owner/manager is very kind, the bedroom is spacious and the breakfast is good

Too noisy. There is no sound isolation

    6FrancoisPosted on: 8-11-2023

Option to have a very early breakfast. Morning personnel were very kind.Clean room.

Very old facilities. Nothing has been changed in the room since 70ies or 80ies. Broken window. It was very hard to order lunch/catch staffs attention. Staff was very distracted with themselves even though the place was almost empty.

    8VeronikaPosted on: 7-29-2023

    It was super clean!

Not so much light and very hot during the night in the room

    7HughPosted on: 5-10-2023

The place was ok. Nothing wrong with it.

We arrived just in time to check-in at 4.00pm. Woman told us that if we'd missed her we'd have had to wait until 7.00. This despite advice on their site that check-in would be 4.00pm onwards. That would have ticked me off badly.

    8AlexPosted on: 10-28-2022

bare to bones room, clean, closed to center.

paper thin walls between room. you can hear “everything”. Steps to enter the lobby area.

    8DavidPosted on: 10-20-2022

In a vey good location just on the outer road of historic centre. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had requested early breakfast so we could catch a morning bus, and this was made possible.

The member of staff dealing with the few customers who had an early breakfast was not helpful or friendly.

    10AnitaPosted on: 10-10-2022

The optional set dinner was of great value. The 2 starters were delicious. The 2 main dishes, snails in ham stew and grilled seafood, were too salty for our taste.

    6EnikoPosted on: 10-6-2022

breakfast was ok and the staff is friendly but you can go to a four star hotel in Benasque for the very same price in September!

ridiculously small beds and rooms. with 170 cm, my legs couldn’t fit the bed. we had a baby, and we could just fit it he baby cot into the room, but it was then impossible to get to the bathroom. very cold in the room in September (6 Celsius) and no heating at all.
