    Pros +

    • nice hotel welcoming right near the slopes, good restaurant and spacioys rooms with great views
    • The view was spectacular and also the rooms are very very clean.
    • I love that this hotel has maintained its old world charm, making necessary updates, but not feeling the need to modernize with bland design that makes it look just like every other hotel out there. There are great little nooks for sitting and reading with a cup of tea, original design details that you just don't see anymore. I hope they never feel pressured to "modernize" except in order to keep everything clean and functional!

    Cons -

    • Maybe the overall hotel could do with some upgrades and refurbishments. It does gove quite old vibes but everything is very clean and functional
    • like said no AC so if is hot then the room gets warm for 4 people inside but open the window and its nice and cool.,, also for the price would be nice to include breakfast since is not cheap
    • Decor is old and could do with update. Not many facilities in hotel.

the view the hotel from the 60´s is wonderfull, i would say that for summer is hot, it is totally to preserve heat inside , that is great for winter but gets a bit hot in the room in summer with no AC

like said no AC so if is hot then the room gets warm for 4 people inside but open the window and its nice and cool.,, also for the price would be nice to include breakfast since is not cheap

Great location, friendly staff, views of slopes from bedroom window (superior room) and restaurant

Decor is old and could do with update. Not many facilities in hotel.

    8AlexanderPosted on: 2-10-2025

Great locations, friendly stuff, free parking, ski rental in the same building, sauna, food at breakfast and dinner, decent price.

the rooms are outdated and old, there are no driers for boots in the (unheated) ski storage room, putting on cold boots is not fun.

Location. Friendly staff. Warm. Free lockers

    Decor is a bit dated.

    7DavidPosted on: 9-1-2024

Central to the mountains, and a pleasant stop over for one night. The ski slopes all closed, not open to hiking or other activities, so nothing to do in the town except eat and drink, or hike on the Camino trail for a short bit.

No kettle, coffee, tea in the room. Not good for a hotel.Asked for a room with a front view, and was told there are none available, but the hotel was empty. The hotel was so empty they turned off all the lights in the lounge and pool room area at 10pm, so nothing to do after 10pm.

Nice staff and very nice views from the rooms and the restaurant deck. Rooms facing south have a very nice sun room/balcony to chill. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and there are plenty of blankets and comforters available. The room feels spacious and are very bright. The breakfast buffet is very varied (hi 5 to the gluten/lactose free options). Savory options are good, as so is fruit. Yet, patries could indeed be more fresh. There is s bus stop right in front of the hotel and plenty of paths to hike nearby.

As other comments point out, it is very expensive for what they offer (just a very correct hotel to spend the night). Wifi is flaky, paint, furniture, walls... look all run down and old and the restaurant, is again, very expensive. Noise is another concern, as walls are paper thin... to the point that l absolutely advice you to bring earplugs. If you get lucky enough to be be some 20m around a family room, you will get Jumamji instead of the peace and quiet you came longing for (as it was my case). The front door, made of metal, heavily slams at night, which is an unnecessary disturbance that could be easily fixed too.Two of the days, l had also trouble getting clean water (photo.attached) on the shower. No aircon.

Charming reception and bar. Good size rooms with great balcony views of the mountains. Very attentive and friendly staff. Dinner catered well for a party of four vegetarians although choice was narrow and the menu overall was quite meat heavy. Otherwise - all excellent.

Everything. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast buffet... We loved this hotel!

Great location for waking. Nice balcony with the room. Friendly staff, comfy bed.

    Meals were poor especially dinner.

The Staff were amazingly friendly. Primarily the hotel caters for the winter season. So too the rest of the village. Many people do not experience the harsh conditions these people live in. As a Ski instructor in Andorra, my admiration and friendliness is much respected.

Nothing really. Any expectations of more should be checked. It’s a beautiful place

the size of the room and tea making facilities in the room. breakfast was basic, if you have car it is ok to stay here although it is better to book parking in advance as there are not a lot of places there. there is a ski rent in hotel, if you don't have a car it is 20 min walk to ski area for beginners and bus doesn't go very often.

food in the restaurant, the hotel itself is quite old, it would be good to update it

    8FlovallartaPosted on: 3-14-2024

    Very good

Very convenient and nice people. The fact that you can rent your ski equipment below the hotel and only have to walk 50 meters is great. The hothead nice Mountain View and dinner was good

Great staff, service, very attentive. Big, comfortable rooms. Many dining options, perfect location.

    7AlexanderPosted on: 2-13-2024

Nice big room for the family. Nice staff. Great view.

The dinner in the restaurant is garbage. We ordered spaghetti for kids. It looks like it was cooked 2-3 days ago and heated in a microwave. I saw like 5 spaghetti merged into 1 fat one. The chef probably hates kids. The entrecote and fish were not better. I think it was cooked in the same way. Breakfasts were average. But after the dinner we had in the hotel restaurant, it was good. The kettle and tea appeared in the room only after the second night. The bidet was brocken.During checkout, I was asked: how was my stay? I said that I have some concerns. They said ok, and did not ask about the concerns :)

This is the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed! Staffs are very friendly and kind. In the restaurant, I highly recommend eating the pizza!
