    • Rustic but comfortable hotel in the mountains.
    • The hotel is in a beautiful location in the mountains with wonderful views. Our room was very homely and comfortable, with lovely views from the balcony. We had an evening meal and breakfast which was great, and were made to feel welcome by the host. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

    Cons -

    • Occasionally a chill in the air in the morning however the wood stove was on in the evenings which made the rooms very toasty.
    • If only we could choose a better weather! :) But it's ok, I'm sure we will come back there one day. :)
    • None. No weak points really.

The amazing location and the brilliant welcome from the staff really set the tone for my stay. Everything about the hotel proved better than expected. My every need was met, including help drying out rather damp motorcycle kit in front of the fire. Great experience.

It's a very remote and secluded hotel in a unique village high in the mountains. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the building itself is a piece of art. We truly enjoyed our 3 nights stay, - the private terrace, the jacuzzi and food. Julio and his wife were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Fulfilling breakfast and amazing dinner made by Julio every day (and nice wine too!). This place is perfect for people who want to disconnect from the rest of the world and enjoy peaceful nature and environment. We arrived on 2 motorcycles, roads were not a problem for us and we could also park easily and safely next to the main building. We managed to do one hike, and although the weather was very foggy that day, we still enjoyed it.

If only we could choose a better weather! :) But it's ok, I'm sure we will come back there one day. :)

Great little hotel with tons of charm. The host was very courteous and kind. The location was amazing - in the middle of the mountain, surrounded by the great hills and cliffs of Nature Reserve Ponga. We arrived very late and Julio even offered to fix us a quick dinner. I half expected something from a microwave but to my surprise he made us a simple but classic mountain dish from scratch.

    None. No weak points really.

Beautiful rural building in stunning area with views on snow-topped mountains.

It was slightly cold, however there was a lovely log fire in the main room.

If you’re looking for a quiet, nicely appointed, very we’ll maintained, rural hotel in a remote village location with the constant gurgle of the stream that runs through it and at the foot of the mountains, this is it. Lovely establishment managed by a very gracious host.

A bit challenging to navigate the small village’s narrow, uphill passage ways to get to the property, but worth it!

Hotel Llerau is a lovingly restored Asturian building with traditional features and the comforts of a modern hotel combined. It is located in Taranes a small community situated in a beautiful and dramatic natural landscape. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities within walking distance. Our host Julio was very friendly and accommodating. He is also a good chef!

Nothing. The property was more than we hoped for.

Excellent. Amazing location and gorgeous room, loved the jacuzzi and outside terrace in the room. Everything great, and exceeded my expectations with the special request I made. Magical place.
