    Pros +

    • Cute location, very friendly staff, solid restaurant in the hotel
    • The location was close to the glacier kayak and hike experience we were doing the following day in Jostedalsbreen National Park, that is the only reason we chose it and the only reason to choose it really.
    • Room was clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very kind.

    Cons -

    • Beds weren’t super comfy, but fine for one night
    • The beds were uncomfortable, heating inconsistent, food very average bordering on bad, and there wasn’t much around. There were no other restaurants in town other than 2 at nearby hotels, one of which we tried to go to and was closed.
    • Room was very small with just basic amenities. Ok for an overnight stay

Quiet. Spacious. Clean. Privacy. Grocery by the reception.

Mattress is bad. Water from the shower goes to the bathroom floor.

The cottage was superb and spacious with all facilities and a perfect kitchen and a wonderful terrace with view on the mountain valley. All furniture made by light wood looks to be the best accomodation of all my whole journey in Norway.!Private parking beside the cottage.Well recommended!!!

Was quite hard to find after check in...as the cottages are far away from reception.Indications and signs were not so Clear.

Price-performance ratio does not fit at all!

Check-in was like: here is your key, cabin nr. 20, its located here, have a nice evening. end. We had a D-Cabin, High-Standard, still searching for the High in the Standard. Kitchen sink was musty / mouldy. Missing kitchen utensilsThe highest overnight price during a 4 week norway trip, including stays in 4 star hotels!

Nice personal at the reception of the hotel. Easy checkin and checkout. Good bedroom size.

We stayed 3 nights in a Hytter. The camping is nice and quiet, there is a playground for kids. The Hytter was quite big, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the small terrace for dinners. We had breakfast a the restaurant one morning, it was GREAT, best breakfast we had in Norway and very good value for money. We should have done it every morning !Supermarket very close if you cook your own dinner

The staff were very friendly, and the facility was clean and nice. We had a good pizza for dinner in their restaurant, and enjoyed breakfast the next morning.

Would have been nice to have a bath mat to put down on the bathroom floor, as when you shower the whole bathroom floor gets wet.

Cozy living area, nice views, playground for kids, good restaurant.Kids loved the place, the cottage and opportunity to just run around in the grass and to the playground

Bedrooms and bathroom in the cottage were dark and outdated. Pillows, blankets and mattresses were old and looked pretty bad but I think they are washed. The beds were very basic, just a thin foam mattress on wooden planks. I couldn’t sleep on that due to starting to feel back pain, so I had to grab a second mattress from another bed and sleep on 2.

Lovely cabin with private bathroom and very comfy couch ! In about 7 min walking there is the hotel restaurant where you can have breakfast and dinner

The bathroom could use a bath mat

Convenient place to stay between Flam and Geiranger with easy parking and nice rooms. Restaurant was very nice.

No elevator to the second floor.

We were staying in the family room. It was actually 2 connecting rooms. So, we had 2 bathrooms!! Nice and clean room. Grocery is just opposite the hotel. Staffs are super nice. Just 30 minutes drive to the Nigardsbeen Glacier.

    10LeivPosted on: 9-15-2023

Pleasant and service-minded staff. Cozy atmosphere and quiet at night. Good standard and cleanliness of room.

    7LidorPosted on: 8-30-2023

Good kitchen, had everything we needed.Worth the value we paid

Small apartment, we paid for linens but didn’t get for all beds so you have to sleep next to a very dirty mattress without linens, even if yours has them.

    2TamkePosted on: 8-17-2023

There was a playground for the kids

Where the reception was and where the cabins were, are 2 different locations. Not far but still, weird.Pots and pans were dirty, some still needed to be washed. Pillows are dirty, yellow stains and just old pillows, time for new ones. Dirty mattresses. Curtain in the bathroom had mold. Windows don't close if you dont force it but than you want them to be open because there's a bad air circulation in the cabin. Find a old cola bottle from people before us. The cabin is out dated, is not cleaned properly and the cabin needs a repair. Not talking about the extra sanitair building for the camping yet.. This was definitely not 1600nok worth. We were glad to leave.

    6BernadettPosted on: 8-10-2023

We had to book hotel rooms as we did not have linens with us but the price is way too much compared to the cottages. We booked a superior room. The kitchenette had 2 wine glasses, a sink and a refrigerator. No dishwasher liquid or a sponge. It was a bit disappointing. The carpet was overworn. The staff was great, very friendly and always ready to help. There is a restaurant on the ground floor serving mainly pizzas. Those were nice but nothing special. There is a market nearby withing walking distance.

    the price

    8RenataPosted on: 8-8-2023

All was on acceptable level. Even though it requires some renovation, but it is still worth to stop there , if you plan to visit glacier and go by road 55 to Lom, which is amazing.

Nothing in particular. Generally it needs some renovation.

    7PedroPosted on: 7-31-2023

Good breakfastServed pizza until 22h wich was good for us, since we arrived very late.Nice staff.

Had to drive by car between the cabin and the hotel, where the breakfast was served. The bathroom of the cabin was a little outdated.
