The food was excellent. Great breakfast and well cooked evening meals

Despite putting the 'please clean' sign on my door,My room was not cleaned once resulting in me asking for clean towels several times and not even the bins emptied.

The room was great, for 90€ my expectations were low but this was great except the smell in the room.

Sewage smell in bathroom, and then another scent coming from bed. Don't know what that was but it was really strong bad smell.

The service was excellent. The stuff was top: friendly, helpsome and good at their jobs. Food excellent. Quiet surroundings. We’ll be back?Thank you for making a part of our 75 years sellebaration so good

This was a great stay clean good beds and Great breakfast . Jacuzzi was a plus to relax .

Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Good breakfast. Everything was clean. Nice shower.

They sent me a thousand emails about online check in and out. None of it works. You still need to go to the front desk to check in.

Check in was quick. The staff was very pleasant. Room is not so great but its good for one night. Parking was just in front of the hotel

Lack of adequate power sockets.

The breakfast was ok.

We were greeted with, * Just give me a moment." Were told that we should eat at the hotel because * in Norway it was a good deal at the price.* I don't have much faith in a comment like that. We ate nearby and had a good meal for less. The greeting and comments are the most distinct memories that I have about my stay.

Service was great, breakfast was plentiful and good. Clean room except a bit behind a sofa that hadn't been moved in a while. Fit three of us adults just fine. Quiet and sufficient for our needs for the night.

Location and amenities are good

During our stay there was a school party nearby(that wasn’t mentioned to us during check-in), that resulted in most guests of the hotel not having sleep until 3-4 in the morning. Everyone at breakfast was discussing how bad it was.Our room was on a ground floor and it was literally vibrating.Imagine you come to a cozy peaceful place near the fjord, have a good stroll around the city and then at the evening it’s crazy loud and you can’t sleep, but you need to drive next day.Reception couldn’t help, as school party wasn’t on their property.Stuff helped us with changing the room to the one, that faces the parking, but it was already spoiled night, as we moved at 2-3 in the morning.

Comfort bed, and and restaurant was GREAT. Friendly staff.

Lobby is too dark.

Really enjoyed using the pool, gym and spa and had it all to ourselves. Very reasonable meal in the restaurant.

Rooms were adequate but a bit more basic than we expected

The breakfast buffet was extraordinary. The front desk staff was helpful, welcoming and made sure all of our needs were met.

Standards Slip dramatically here!

Food here has gone very downhill! The Hamburger on the evening menu was the most processed made beef I have ever tasted.Breakfast I thought must be better having stayed here many times before, but hey, when I asked for some extra bacon as a valid guest, I was flatly denied, when I asked why? I was spoken to like a 16 year old, not a 60 year old that I am "The chef said NO!" was her unwelcoming reply.The tiny pieces of bacon that were on the fried eggs was just as bad as the burger ( the night before) anyway and the scrambled egg was not good at all, standards definitely do not rule at this hotel anymore!

we had a quiet and comfortable room whith a balkony, so we slept very well!! Very good Restaurant for Diner. The breakfast buffet was typically norwegian, that means perfekt and a large selection, great. thanks for the nice stay. Very helpful and friendly stuff.

the room was a bit dusty, could have been a bit more cleaner. so maybe it would be possible to fit 1 or 2 rooms as a handicap room, we know, it is an older house, but it would be more easier for a handicaped person to have some handles or more space at the shower. thanks
