Hotel Kovac

Everything! Comfy room, great breakfast, great restaurant, fantastic staff, beautiful area…I simply can’t say enough nice things about The Hotel Kovac.

Food is very good and stuff are vey friendly. Nice big and clean pool with jacuzzi in separate building. Finnish and turkish sauna.

Bathroom wasn't clean enough, beds were very uncomfortable and it wasn't one large bed but two smaller put together. Wifi was without internet connection and only two saunas were functional. And avoid weekends as you might not sleep till 5AM because of music in restaurant like we didn't.

The hotel staff is incerdibly nice and polite and they make the hotel super cosy.>The food is local and delicious! The pool and jacuzzi are amazing and super convenient in the winter days.

The bathroom was a little small but livable :)

Super friendly staff!! We arrived relatively late from a bear observation trip (book with CroMedo!!) and they still served us dinner. Nice traditional hotel directly at the brink of the Slovenian-Croatian border. Can’t imagine a better starting point for wildlife watching, hiking or rafting.

We’d have loved it even more if they weren’t using one-way plastic packages for butter, jam, etc. during breakfast. Being nestled close to a national park with such awesome fauna and flora, refraining from using plastic should be self-evidently.

Remote location, enjoyed tranquility and fresh air. Friendly staff, good breakfast, room ok.

Light in the room from the street, flyes on the food at breakfast, balcan music in the eating area.

Mainly the place is wonderful for us we live the outdoor hicking fishing etc... But the best host is Simon he was so busy, short because two staff were sick operation, but he took his time to embrace everyone good by!! During our few days there he was very attentive and always making sure the guest were having a good time at his place.. We are retired couple my husband From California and me from Costa Rica traveling the world.. Highly recommend it Hotel Kovac

Very friendly people. Nice place to relax , activities around. Poolarea, Restaurant.

The bed mattress has a very strong smell and should be replaced. Cleanliness of rooms. Some items are broken, like hair dryer, refrigerator. Lots of spiders in the corners. The restaurant is a bit too expensive

Superfriendly, helpful staff (speaks English and German) great food, clean, big indoor pool with sauna, stunning nature. Very beautiful!!

Rooms could be a bit bigger, yet they are fully functional.

Food is delicious, home made bread and buns, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the rooms are very clean. The beautiful natural surroundings offer plenty of activities to enjoy. We will be coming back.

Hotel Kovac is a first class hotel. Everything is exceptional and the staff is very keen to please each guest. It is the perfect getaway Perfect for outdoor activities as well as relaxation. I loved my stay at this hotel.
