- Food in general was not too impressive. My dinner come cold, wrong order once. Breakfast was not as good also my tea came cold as well. I feel the breakfast needs improving
- The service, Augustin, Zama and Enoch were amazing. Emily as well but at some point it seemed they were complaining about doing what we were asking her. Personally spoke to her about it. But she was nice. The tea replenisher lady...didn't ge7t her name _nice too. Nicolas very patient. Liked Charles as well. Good with the kids. The place is great for people how are not scared of creepy crawlies. The Rangers are good and friendly. Wish to see a young female black ranger one day. The pizza chefs...katlego also nice. You have amazing staff.
- Good location with lots of herbivores tp experience - security is also very friendly.Really nice restaurant with friendly waitresses
Cons -
- There is very limited activities especially when you travel with hyper active teenagers, they have quad biking which is great but others are just not good
- Creepy crawlies entering the unit is doors don't close properly. Please fix Bath stopper - rubber is finished and water will be wasted. No buffet breakfast but Augustine made a meal plan for us.Prices for the food is ridiculous. The 150 preservation/reservation fee...please pre communicate or add as part of booking. Please also look at refilling the grass we could see the sky light in some areas. The lights on the pathway to the rooms...make it brighter.
- The phone wasn’t working and the reception staff wasn’t very helpful all of the time We had asked to come in at 10, which was approved on the self service and then we were asked to wait for the room We weren’t given enough towels and showercaps

Breakfast buffet was amazing! very friendly stuff
I Wasn't aware that there is an entry fee that you pay at the entrance.
Very spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff.
The shop and restaurants are very, very expensive
Buffet n game drive ?I also enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room was so nice
Waitress they were bit slow to bring our food or if they serve few customers they must tell us so that we know that we will wait ?
LocationAnimals on the property
The pictures are not a true reflection It's not clean at all ,we had to dust our own room and dust the sheets ? TV was not working only had one channel
The bed, bathroom are top class
The Wifi wasn't working as per the adverts. Initially, i was booked at room 18 with two double bed. Eventually, i had to be moved to room 17 to mske space for a family that booked at 11th hour. The fridge in room 17 was full of ice in the freezer, and it wasn't cooling our drink. I called for assistance, and I was told the staff have knocked off. I had to defrost it myself. In the morning, when they came, they didn't even ask to clean the fridge.
Rooms were dated with a lot of maintenance not attended to.
Facility, rooms dated and appliances old. Shower head was positioned odd and not working properly, doors couldn't open properly to enjoy the outdoors. Remotes were not working, and towels were shocking.
Oxtail meal at Waterberg restaurant and staff at both restaurants were friendly and helpful
everything was fine
Golfers Lodge chalet was nice and spacious. Comfortable beds. Fridge good. Coffee station good. Bathroom clean. The evening meal we had at Boutique Hotel was wonderful with really friendly staff and waiters. Plus one to them!!!
The reception was terrible. No one greeted my overseas guests and myself and family on arrival. Had to unpack luggage and golf clubs ourselves. Reception very unfriendly and not helpful. I booked 6 chalets and nearly all had problems, Had to change chalets about 3 times. leaking roofs ,dirty duvets, patio sliding door wouldnt open, lights in the toilets were not working. It was a struggle to get maintainance to fix the items. Door was never opened. The chalets definitely need some upgrading! Meals were not that good. The loud thumping music emanating from the Bar even at breakfast was ridiculous. Didnt feel like we were in nature but in some loud nightclub.

On a Saturday early morning the gardener was mowing the lawn, this could have been done late afternoon or during the week and not over a weekend where guests need to relax. Due to all the rain over the weekend it was raining in our unit no7 between the toilet and bathroom. I had to ask for bath towels 3x before they delivered it so that we could not slip on the floor. The staff at the lodge restaurant needs definitely training skills. We asked for Nederberg Rose and the Ernie Else wine was delivered by our waiter. For dinner we ordered steak medium to rare and we sent the steak back twice as it was so rare that the blood from the steak was visible. Both days for breakfast we ordered soft sunny side eggs and both were overdone - we had to send it back.As a mystery guest accessing hotels all over SA, I was rather disappointed in the service we received. For a 4 star lodge you need to meet your expectations.Mrs G Dos Santos 0833 211 561
The serenity and reception staff
The spa administration will not recommend anyone to be there. They perform fraudulent transactions while smiling
breakfast excellent room excellent staff friendly and helpful
Nothing really as the stay was not good.
We booked a family room and only got two towels, they took the hand towels and never returned them. Our room was cleaned really late despite them coming to take the towels. The geyser seemed to be on some sort of timer so we didn't have hot water both mornings. We had to wait extremely long on Saturday at around 09:00 to be served breakfast and Sunday morning no one even came to assist us. No entry code was issued prior to arrival which meant to were waiting outside at night for reception to issue at entry code. Buffet run out of items and were not replaced and the breakfast buffet was very basic.
The breakfast was fine and the location was great, I especially enjoyed the pool facilities and the live music. ❤️?
On the three consecutive days of breakfast, the menu was the same, therefore variety in the menu would be nice.
Chalet was spacious. the dinner at The Boutique hotel was exceptional and the service was very good.
It poured with rain when we arrived. No staff to help unpack our vehicles when we arrived. Reception staff not helpful or friendly. We were with a party of overseas friends and my family. Most of the chalets had leaking rooms. Had to change chalets a few times. The duvet cover in one chalet was dirty. My chalet ,i could not open the sliding doors. Asked for help but no one came to sort it out. Also the most annoying thing was the loud disco music pounding out of the Bar from breakfast to night time. Totally unnecessary when one is visiting the bush expecting it to be quiet and peaceful. The resort looks much more rundown from the last time we visited. On the way back from the Boutique Hotel to the lodge there is not clear signage and we got lost in the dark!
Everything was wonderful. The Staff were so friendly and accommodating
On the downside, the food was average and the service was very slow.some dusting of webs on outside doors was needed but inside was clean and comfy
The beds were comfortable.
The rooms did not have stove for us to cook because we bought food before checking in and also what was advertised on booking.com is not what we got, the rooms were disappointing.
