The quietness of the area and the staff there are very assisting especially big thanks to Mr. Jacob.

The network there is horrible, i almost lost my relationship because i couldn't connect for the whole night.

Food was really good, breakfast was a delightful spread as were the dinners.The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and have been there a long time. This is our second stay here.

Bathrooms are in need of a revamp.

The breakfast was great. My room were equipped with fireplace that was helpful for a winter night.

Just improve on dinner menu. Give us more variety of options.

It’s a beautiful setting, really lovely gardens and large comfortable rooms. Huge potential.

I think there are a few things standing between good and great for Budmarsh which I’d like to suggest to management as these aren’t difficult to achieve: 1. Staff could benefit from training - service was slow and orders were sometimes incorrect. 2. No fixed phones in rooms is a nice idea but when I needed assistance on your 083 number no one answered. This goes back to the service item. 3. Trails should be clearly demarcated. It starts promisingly with a sign and after that nothing. 4. I’d offer a basic room service menu for people who don’t want an elaborate four course dinner.

The breakfast was great and well prepared. Large variety and delicious. The location is great and the bed was comfy.

The shower head was splashing water outside of the cabin and every morning the floor was soaked. The spa-bath had a crack in it and was not usable. The last morning's breakfast most items were not available and we had to do with what they have.

Perfect escape in the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Well catered breakfast and excellent dinner option. Special requests for my dining and drinks preferences were accommodated. Felix was exceptional ? ?

Brown water in bathroom so the inviting spa bath was not an option.

The dinner was good and value for money.

Accommodation needs an upgrade. Spa facilities was average and below the time. Lots of flies during breakfast.

Great staff and wonderful room. Some small things could have improved the dinner experience, however the food was fantastic. Felix deserves a special mention, as do the rest of the staff.

The staff were absolutely incredible, the beds were extremely comfortable and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. If it wasn't for the water, this rating would be a 9 or 10/10.

The water in both the bath and shower came out dark brown with sand in it. We came back after a wedding and my husband and were unable to wash. It was such a pity as everything else was incredible.

The service from the staff was excellent, they responded promptly to queries and requests for assistance at the place.The place was also quite peaceful and relaxing.

The premises may need some touchups here and there just to refresh them, granted they have done a good job maintaining the place but some small upgrades would do good.

The property has beautiful gardens and a river flows by. It’s truly wonderful to stay here for relaxing and reading or taking walks in nature.The staff are friendly, however, their speed of service is slow. I guess the environment of the hotel lends itself to having patience. Don’t expect speed of service at the restaurant. The breakfast was good. The menu options are limited but at least we enjoyed the food.

Their water in the bathroom taps is brown. I was told it’s got to do with pipe work being done by the municipality, but for the full duration of our 3-nights’ stay, we had to wash with brown water and that was really off-putting. What was helpful though, was that they provided us with bottled water for drinking. Before booking, it might be worthwhile to call the property and enquire if this problem has been sorted. The bed mattress was also not great.

The Booking.com link offered a restaurant, which I looked forward to--Chaine des Rotisseurs plaque at the front door. However, dinner was a four course set menu with no options. Breakfast was so-so.

Was close to the event that we attended. Staff were friendly and the linen was clean.

Dirt road was not good after the rains (we struggled with our sedan vehicle to get to the main road). Property was run down. Lights in Unit 16 were not working properly. Jacuzzi bath had brown water coming out of tap. Glass door to balcony was badly cracked and didn’t open properly. Bed was hard and not comfortable. Dinner menu was wrong - lamb shank instead of lamb cutlets, with a thin layer of mash potatoe. Chicken Rissole was presented in two pieces , which could have been more delicately presented. Although it is a four course menu, it was not up to par for the price charged.

Our room was lovely. It was a very generous size, and the room was on the second floor with a balcony, which was also a lovely feature. The bed was very comfortable. The coffee station was well stocked and there were biscuits on offer, and also cold water on the fridge.

I have stayed there before and the set up with the tables outside for breakfast under the huge tree was so lovely, I was disappointed, that this has been changed. Also, I felt as if the breakfast was set up like a conference room.

Service is outstanding. Felix was really amazing, provided outstanding service, and played a really great role in me surprising my partner for valentines. The picnic was great as well, with ample food and options to cater for everyones pallet. Dinner (4-course) was affordable but great. Breakfast was good too.

Quite overpriced and the "5 stars" are definitely questionable. Water in the room, including toilet and shower water, was brown. The furniture is extremely old. The bathroom is extremely dated and the jaccuzzi was loud. The pool was non-functional and had green water. The TV uses a decoder and was definitely not HD quality. Wifi was problematic throughout the property.
