- The atmosphere was good.
- Room was excellent

Cons -
- The room was not what i expected, the last time we went to Ingeli with my friends they gave us the best room but the cootage thaey gave us was very cold and not nice at all. The lights keep on switching ON and OFF by themselves, there was no microwave to warm our food as we did not book for the dinner.
- There was a wedding at the venue and it was incredibly noisy in reception and in the restaurant. The restaurant did not have the first two items that i ordered for dinner.
- Ask them to update the king standard room photos, they are horrible. Food was mediocre, slow service.

A wrong turn

Scenery and the Friendly Staff
The noise levels were over the top, which were caused by other guests. We found ourselves calling reception to have the pool area clean. The restaurant prices were not affordable, just suggesting spa prices need to be affordable as no patrons attended the spa during our stay.
The location is superb and very friendly the resturant exceed the most
My special request wasn't taken care
The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and soft, clean linen. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The environment is refreshing, surrounded by nature, and the kids-friendly facilities are a big plus.
Breakfast at R265 per person is far too expensive, especially given the already high room rates. Our room had a few issues: electric blankets and heater not working, a broken mirror, and a dirty bathroom ceiling with some mould on the upper wall. The toilet had very weak flushing pressure, and windows were left open, allowing insects in. This wasn’t my first stay at the hotel — it’s always been excellent before. Please don’t lose your touch.
We had such a lovely overnight stay! The forest walk was peaceful and refreshing – a real highlight of our stay. The adventure golf course was fun, with beautiful features like rock pools and waterfalls that made it extra special. Dinner was delicious, and the overall facilities were clean, cozy, and comfortable. Honestly, we wish we had stayed a little longer to enjoy everything more. Highly recommended!
It would have been nice to have an air conditioner in our room, although the fan did work really well.
breakfast = n/adinner = n/aroom = excellent; comfortable
Lots of facilities. Quiet and peaceful with excellent scenery.
Restaurant was a bit pricey and not a variety of options.
The toilet ran all night. My husband removed the top to pull the chain up. Someone needs to repair. Otherwise the property is in a beautiful setting. We could even hear the parrots
A friendly welcome from the staff. Our room was upgraded at no charge because of our special event we had come there for.
The TV was blurry, anyway it was just for one night.
The hiking trail was well maintained, the gardens were well maintained,
The beds are outdated, particularly the duvet inners were old and the bed bases. The kiddies corner room looked abandoned, was locked with dirty tissues on the floor. The drinks and food were 5 star restaurant prices and low quality.
Loved the pools and all the activities for families.
Didn’t love that they allowed people to drink at the pool. There was a big party there and families couldn’t go swim
The location is perfect, a hidden gem. Away from the bustling towns and city life we’re used to in Jhb.
The door knob/handle is very close to the door frame making it awkward to unlock and open. The buffet breakfast is mediocre for R250 per person, the standard breakfast menu is also a bit expensive for what you get compared to the likes of Southern Sun and Tsogo Group hotels. The rate per room is a bit steep also, compared to Southern Sun and Tsogo or even Premier Hotels that I’ve stayed at.
The state of the room did not match the cost of the room. However the staff was friendly
The rooms need a face-lift with the rates they charge
The atmosphere...the views ...heated pool
Food took long to come ...tables were not cleared in time. Had to ask for refill at the buffet all the time ....
The staff were so friendly
The room that we were put in, the water was cold we didn't bath until the next day they moved us to family roomThe menu: there are no variety of food that you can choose from
The food was delicious. I booked dinner (A la carte menu was served) and breakfast ( buffet was served) so I didn’t worry about going there with something to eat. My kids enjoyed the play area, warm swimming pool and water slides a lot.
They had a power cut during breakfast time, apparently the standby wasn’t working by that time. My kids were hurt that they couldn’t get omelette as breakfast because of electricity.
It was good, accommodating. The weather was bad but the room was cosy
The fact that you have to walk all the way to collect food. There’s no room service. The patio area was dirty it had grass was never swept.
Hiking trail
on the new year's eve we were not allowed to celebrate not even live band. I was not happy about Kids play area, some of the activities that are on the display were not there,
