Great room, great breakfast, Gerda was attentive and helpful throughout

style was cool, everything was clean. Breakfast was great and plentyfull , aircon worked great. Room was awesome and there were plnty of things like rusks and a sherry glass, that made us feel welcome.

I liked everything. Instructions were easy to follow, was easy to navigate. Great stay.

Situated on a golf estate with all the tranquility that comes with that. Attentive host and friendly staff. Access to the Clubhouse where meals can be taken with a lovely view.

From the moment I was greeted upon entry, the service was exceptional. Such genuine care to ensure everything was just right. Facilities are charming and rooms very comfortable. To be able to sit outside after our day of meetings and complete our workday, whilst overlooking the natural garden and golf course was a treat. Definitely recommend for a home away from home experience. Thank you, I hope to be back.

Had to stay for one day

Safe Location for a woman traveling alone. Breakfast was great. The special touches in your room of a glass of Port on a cold evening. Bed is super comfortable. No issues with loadshedding either

Nothing negative

Gerda and her team are absolutely lovely. Staying here is the best part of travelling for work. It meets all my needs, they cater for my dietary requirements. You are met with a glass of sherry in your room. Rooms are stocked with refreshments and there is nothing you will need in addition. You can take a relaxing stroll around the estate after a hectic day.

The comfort, the welcome, and the quality of the lodge. Its location is superb and the facilities were outstanding.

Parking and security of vehicles, not that we had any problems.

Everything was excellent, from the staff to the facilities and the natural setting the place was located.

Mama Gerda, Mama Irene and Oom were the best hosts.Rooms were fantastic and clean with goodies to choose from. If you want tranquility, I would recommend it.

Upper class guesthouse and friendly staff running the guesthouse. Relaxing stay.

Really bad experience during check inn as we were turned down by the security guard at the gate entering into the complex. One needs a code to enter and this was never sent by the property to me, tried to contact the property with no one answering the phone numbers listed on the website. Some other guests who accompanied me also did not receive an enter code. Once I got hold of the owner on the phone she didn't even apologise for this and rather defended the issue on hand, really poor. Really late check in time of 16:00, but except for this it was a pleasant stay and good guesthouse.

Delightful stay, very welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable and spacious room. Delicious and big breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely setting by the golf course and good for walks

The rooms at the guesthouse are beautiful comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly. We also visited their spa and what a lovely, relaxing experience. The therapist is a lovely young lady that went out of her way to make us unwind from the long road. Everything was perfect.

The property is safe and well positioned within the Kalahari Golf Estate. The facilities we very clean and all Covid protocols were followed. The breakfast was fantastic as was the host.

Kathuhari is situated on the side of the Kathu Golf course which is one of the top 17 golf courses in South Africa. It is so beautiful and peaceful there. The guesthouse has some very nice art pieces relevant to the area. The garden is also superb and you can go and walk on the golf course straight from the guesthouse. The owner is very friendly and helpful, giving advice on where to eat, where to stop on the next leg of your trip, etc. The rooms have everything you need, a well-stocked bar, enough plugs and adapters, good mattresses, and nice duvets.

I feel like I'm really nitpicking now. We needed a code to get onto the property where the guesthouse was situated. We were not aware of this. Maybe a warning as we booked, would have been nice. The code only lasts 24 hours, so she can only give you the code the day itself. We were just not aware of it, a phone call quickly sorted the problem out but it would have been nice to know upfront that we just had to phone for the code.

Absolutely loved it. An oasis of luxury and tranquility. We will always stay there from now on when passing through to the rest of the northern Cape or Namibia
