HOTEL HO2 POIANA MARULUI

The room and the whole venue is not, by any imaginable standards, a hotel. Many of the facilities exhibit jury-rigging which is funny and inventive but should not be advertised as a hotel. There was an awful noise made by the water dripping through the radiators during the night. The breakfast here is ridiculous, most likely 5 euro worth of cheap supermarket meat and cheese put together in a hurry. A good feature is that you can wash your head in the sink while sitting on the toilet (if you are not a big person, because then you won't fit). Also, if you plan on using this hotel as a base for skiing at "Muntele Mic" Weski, just fyi even if it's listed by those people as a "partner" hotel, it's 80 km away because you need to go round the mountain, and the roads are in a very poor state, making it 2 hours away.

Wifi in room dropped out every few minutes due to poor signal strength (great in dining area) Shower was lukewarm at best.Beer wasn't cold. TV remote didn't work. Acoustic separation between rooms was terrible. (If there's almost no guests, then don't put them in adjacent rooms)

We had a wonderful weekend with the kids in here. We liked everything about this hotel. Cozy, clean rooms, beautiful location, friendly staff. Also, the food was excellent ?. You should also try the ciubar in the winter. It's something you will always remember.

Badbags in the room. It was the problem of only one room. Staff change the room immediately and the new one was OK. Other rooms of my friends as well.The hotel is old facility owerpainted by blue color. The facility present itself, diferently than what it is.

The food was very tasty although the menu was not that rich.Location was great,right next to the river and a beer factory. Poiana Marului was amazing and silent.Most probably we will come back. The room was clean, not big but enough for sleeping (we had outdoor activities all day).The TV worked fine.The breakfast included the same food every day but tasty and the coffee was included in the price. I can say that this hotel is a good choice.

The bathroom needs a small update, especially the shower and the ventilation(very loud). The kids trampoline must be changed,it is old and dangerous.

-poor service-food (the chicken was not well cooked, boiled eggs from breakfast were not cooked - inedible)-the room was not cleaned (luckily were only 2 nights)-I recommend paying for each meal on the spot; otherwise, you can be overcharged

The location is good and the acces to the hotel is easy! With lots of fresh air and lovely nature scenary, a weekend in Poiana Mărului could not disconnect you from your daily rutine more! The hotel is clean and we did get what was listed on their main Booking page!

Staff always seemed quite annoyed by our questions. The beds are old and the matress is not comfortable at all!

We've stayed in room 211 and our friends in 210. The view is quite nice from second floor overseeing the mountains and we've enjoyed a beautiful winter scenary! Regarding the room itself, we had everything we needed. Food was really good and prices are decent!

Old furniture. Staff in not such a great mood, didn't seem eager to help much nor to have customers there!

The staff was very kind. Cleanliness was good, it was nice to see, that the cleaning staff was constantly busy. Value for money was good, exactly as I expected it. Restaurant was good, I had an excellent dinner, that was very delicious! Don't miss out on that.

Very thin walls, the neighbours kept me up almost all night, although they were only talking. The hotel is renovated, however in places only with minimum investment or effort. Has much more potential if a bit more attention is paid to details.

The outside area is great, the terraces, kids area, the view and lots of parking spots.Having a tea/coffee in the morning by the river it's a must.The rooms were very clean and had big and comfortable beds.

The rooms need some renovation, like changing the noisy bathroom fans and fridges, and the power plugs which are not fixed properly.

Food was excelent, wiew was magnific and so quiet.

Hotel staff was really nice. Staff from the restaurant was really stressed. Anyhow. If you are just look for a place to sleep you can go there. Maybe some language skills would help to communicate easier with the guys fromThe restaurant.

The property has a really cool location, easily reachable and convenient if you want to start hikes from there (for instance we did the Șucu Waterfalls route - around 3.5h roundtrip ) and it was perfect for that.The place is situated nearby the river with stunning views of the hills nearby and the river is deviated so that a little natural pool is created just in front of the hotel.The food was great, the trout was fantastic! :) the breakfast was decently varied and plentiful and the wi-fi was functioning well, enough to be able to work from home from the location.Oh, and almost forgot - you can also rent bikes (I mean - for free) from the location - unfortunately we did not think of that soon enough :)

Not a lot of things can be improved but I would say mosquito nets can be a good addition, as well as perhaps a change of towels every day by default (they did offer to do a full cleaning after I requested some refills)

Nice, comfortable hotel, beautiful surroundings. Tasty food, not expensive. Great papanasi! You should try them!

The hot tub, the sauna and the location.

The terrace view is blocked by the roof, so the whole point of going to a place close to the mountain to have a nice view is completely compromised.
