Kapteinu Osta

Very close to the sea. Restaurant on the grounds with great food and desserts. Close to the border with Estonia.

Issues with cleanliness are still present, even 8 years after my first visit to the place. WC brush looks like it has not been cleaned and changed in ages. Dirty papers lying under the bed. Discustung!I have informed reception about it, but the reply was - the housekeeping personell is new, etc. Imo that has nothing to do with each other. During the checkout, the male receptionist was sitting off the place and asked to leave the key on the desk. Imo, at least a question of how our stay was and 'have a good day' would have been nice.

We were making the trip from Tallinn to Vilnius and needed a place for the night. This was the perfect stop. Just off of the main road, the hotel portion of the property is a short walk from the beach which can also be seen from the spacious balcony of the room. Clean and comfortable with good WIFI, refrigerator and A/C. A good breakfast was included, ordering from the menu. Price was reasonable for the off-season. Parking directly in front of the hotel.

All was good.

Location is close to the main road and to the sea - depends on the premises you get. Breakfast is ok. Restaurant meals for lunch/dinner are truly good.

We were unlucky to get the bungalow, which was away from the sea, but most probably closest to Yacht Club - first night we were forced to listen to bad taste loud music almost all night - some party in Yacht Club, no rest. Did not match our expectations at all. Second night better, no bigger noise, still rather the distance to go to the beach, no sea view, no sea sound, be aware what you are booking. We did not succeed for a lunch, unfortunately as big group was taken all kitchen resources. Would stay again only if getting one of the bungalows closer to the sea and no parties guaranteed

House was booked for 4. Persons. Bedding was only for two. Sauna did not get hot enough, but that’s probably because it was windy.

nice location. each house has their own BBQ place.we were having fun there.

Toilet I'm the house is a bit dirty. The water from the tap is yellowish.

Staff turned on sauna at right time for us ahead of our arrival. Nice houses. Sea view. Good family stay. Would be more fun in summer.

Maybe property could have basic dish and hand soap or shower gel. Few minor fixes, especially electrical sockets.

Missing soap in bathroom, tv remote has flat batteries, one teaspoon for 5 persons.

Nice room and good restaurant.

Maybe need to buy new mattresses for beds.

Nice cabins near the beach. Easy to arrive by car. It's nice that you can get your car next to cabin.Cabins are clean and nice size.

Location, clean, very good resturant

Bed and infant bed uncomfotable, as well in november too cold for us with infant (it was allowed to regulate air conditiionig but it eas too cold for us and baby-by feelings not warmer than 19 C)In shower very cold water.

The best place for relaxing. Just this year was little too hot weather, bet is not your fault. If we will travel to Baltic states we will be at Kapteinu Osta again.

Room was very spacious, we did like the fact that there was a heating and it was possible to turn it on and off as needed for us. Bed was really comfortable and terrace was with a beautiful view. Breakfast was good, we liked :) and the restaurant for dinner was just perfect ?

Shower could have been cleaner and one of the towels left for us were not really clean. Otherwise everything was good

The location is nice, most bungalows have a sea view and the beach is near. The rooms were spacious. It seems it would be a really nice place during the warm season.

A bit pricey concidering it's off-season, the staff wasn't even there and the restaurant was closed. There was a lack of information about our arrival and a bit of miscommunication with the staff, but they tried to be helpful. Missing some essentials like shower gel and hairdryer, even thought the bungalow comes with a sauna.

Exceptional

Strangers walked in and out our paid sauna if we left it unsupervised for a second because all area was accessible to everyone

Cabins are clean and there is everything that you need.Beds are ok.Beach is walk in distance.

Near sea, good parking.

Uncomfortable beds, smell like where were smoking in the room.

The location is great, right by the sea with a good view. Breakfast was also nice and sufficient. The room was clean. Plenty of parking spots as well.

Outlets by the bed were not working. Air conditioner did not work very well and was very loud.

Kapteiņu Osta is a place where we have stayed a few times in the past and is familiar to us, so we knew what to expect. The restaurant serves excellent food. The location is on the beach on the Baltic Sea. There are always international guests from various places: Finland, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania and of course, Latvia.

The room had AC but it did not cool, and kept turning back on even if it was shut off, The daytime weather was quite warm and sunny, so the room had heated up quite a bit, but opening the door to the huge balcony in the evening cooled things off.

The premises were clean and well maintained. The hotel had an interesting interior and in general the territory had a pleasant atmosphere. There is a quiet beach near the hotel. Although a bit limited in choices, the breakfast were tasty.All in all, a pleasant experience for a peaceful getaway with the family in a relaxing vibes.

Minor stuff.. maybe a bit more choices in breakfast and toiletries set in room would be nice upgrade.

Great location, just next to the sea. Sea was visible from our room's balcony. The hotel seems a bit old but it is clean and good enough for a short stay that we had. Breakfast was very good. On sight restaurant is good too. There is a large parking area and even a playground for kids nearby
