Hotel Sidesporet

Friendly staff. Hotel is an old building with wooden, creaking floors. Location is in the center of Holbaek, close to the sea front and where you can find various restaurants and shops. The restaurant has a good quality menu.

The room has no wardrobe and no shelfs. That means that you need to keep your clothing in your suitcase. The curtains are very transparent meaning that at 5.30 am, the room is already very light. The folded bedsheet used as matrass cover, gets wrinkled over night. A tight, dedicated cover would be more comfortable.

The bed was comfy

-You can only park from 6PM to 10AM, since the parking is ONLY for the restaurant (it closes at 6PM).-The room is incredibly hot.-The breakfast is scarce and they barely refill the vegetables. There's a few options and they run out quickly.-There's no kettle in the bedroom.-There's no elevator and the stairs are narrow

Limited menu choices for dinner, beds were awful, tiny single beds with marshmallow mattress’s that if you move in your sleep, they almost come off the bed. Room was roasting hot and no aircon, small fan just blew the hot air around. Tried opening windows but just got eaten alive by mosquitoes. No lift so if you have heavy luggage you are carrying it up which with 2 bags is a pain

The view of the water. It was a nice walk down to the ferry and the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Great location with sea view. Rellay nice staff - family friendly. Nice classic room with hairdyrer, shower and a great bed, TV and everything you neednext to the hrbour and 5 min from the shopping area and 10 min. from the train station.

Breakfast was good position good if in a room with a view thats good too. the only thing which would improve would be tea/coffee in the room

Complimentary water first day but not again was not replaced so nothing in room

Great location, clean and nice room with great view. The Staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant dished out some amazing steak and awesome fries.

The breakfast was great, childbed was easy to fit into the room. Comfortable couch and bed.

Location next to the Fjord yet also close to what we were there to see!! Perfect!!

No elevator. Staff not always so friendly. Staff double billed us. Staff later acknowledged and corrected its mistake, but it required effort on our part.

The staff - no matter if restaurant or hotel - was very nice and helpful.Don't have to high expectations about the room, but it was clean, had a really good bed and was absolutely okay for the asked price.

The location of the hotel was great.

The pictures of the accommodation reflected a way better picture than the reality. The accommodation is more modest compared to what is shown on the hotel's websites and on booking.

Breakfast was nice

Very basic hotel. Pictures give the impression that there is a jacuzzi at the hotel but this turns out to be a local Turkish Hamam

Position and old fashioned beautiful service.

There were lots of mosquitos in our room upon arrival. We must have killed over 20. This is not pleasant.
