    Pros +

    • The rooms were spacious and very well thought out. The lobby was beautiful with a variety of seating areas, a bar area and a large children’s play area complete with IKEA kitchen and other toys. There was a “living room “ on our floor with another seating area as well as microwave, fridge and coffee supplies. The IKEA Museum was right across the parking lot and was a fascinating way to spend a few hours.
    • Location next to train station
    • We had a great stay. I also went to the sauna with the children. It was fun for them. Second time perhaps they ever did that. And we had the adjacent rooms, just as we asked.

    Cons -

    • Nothing negative to say.
    • breakfast options are very limited and must be improved with few more options
    • The bathroom incl toilet could have been cleaned better. Only two starts of five for that.

The family room was fantastic. Lovely bunk-beds! Great facilities for both working, leisure, and for the kids to play in play-rooms. Breakfast was beyond expectations.

The bathroom incl toilet could have been cleaned better. Only two starts of five for that.

Clean property, good breakfast, good location.

The second floor rooms were hot and there was very little ability to adjust that. The price of the rooms have gone up considerably in the last 3 years.

The location, the great breakfast buffet, awesome staff, living rooms, possibility to do laundry and borrow a bike.

Minor, but the recycling bins in the living room area could use some better labeling.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff, sauna, washing machine and dryer available for free

Excellent location and cosy rooms with the IKEA furnishings. Family room available. Warm atmosphere in the lobby and business center.

Speed of free wifi could be better. However is good enough.

Breakfast was too a high standard, I wasn't eating that much but for what I wanted or could have had their was a good selection.

Shower space was a bit tight and the door was a bit awkward but nice enough. Probably could have done with an additional large towel but that is my preference.

Like stopping in an ikea showroom! Love the family lounges in each floor. Room was spacious and well planned out. Kid loved the privacy curtain on the bunk! Fantastic breakfast. Also a well equipped laundry room which is free to use.

It gave me too long a shopping list of essentials I need for ikea!

A cosy hotel with everything you need and the staff are incredibly polite

Like all Swedish hotels, there was no jug for water in the room

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. It is right next to the Ikea museum. Also like there were some facilities like the common living rooms where one can make coffee or tea. I also liked the fact that the room has plenty of outlets. There is ample parking.

While I appreciate that the look of an IKEA showroom adds to the sensation, I also felt it was a bit sterile. My partner and I both didn't like the beds. They have these very high mattress toppers that make them too soft and make you feel you are going to roll off the bed and you nearly got to jump to get on them. And we are both 6' tall, so that is not the issue. The adjacent Grillen restaurant, which is part of IKEA and the hotel: I found it relatively expensive, the service very lax, and the menu very limited. Definitely space for improvement there!

Good communal areas Meal at Grillen restaurant

No rooms available with 2 separate single beds for friends travelling together Central courtyard area could do with a makeover (to include small pool, fire pits and more landscape)

The facilities and that it is IKEA and the history of the building being the first IKEA store opened by Ingvar Kamprad.

The location is quiet and did not have many shops to visit.

The most comfortable bed I have slept in. The room was very comfortable, plenty of room to move around. A loverly bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. A bonus was being able to charge our rented EV outside the hotel.

Small room, but perfectly thought out and clean. In the morning we were delighted with a delicious breakfast with a varied selection.
