- Exceptionally good value for the money with an outstanding room size. We felt comfortable and well-taken care of by an attentive, kind and friendly staff, especially Adriana. This hotel more than lived up to our expectations and were we to ever be in the area again, we would not hesitate to book at Hotel Ghala.
Cons -
- The air conditioning didn't cool, it just ventilated and we were very hot but I think this will be resolved soon.
- No window in the room ( although there was a window in the bathroom ) but this suited us well as the room remained dark for sleeping.
- Another example of the inadequacy of Booking .com to liaise with hotel properly. Room we were first directed to was small, dark and with no terrace! Unpleasant scene at check in and phone call to booking averted the problem. Location, adjacent to a petrol station…. Bar used by customers.In week , hotel used by workmenRather disturbing pictures on wall of dining area of aspects of military life in the old East Germany before unification.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Ghalà! The room was very spacious and clean, and we even had a huge balcony to our disposal. Breakfast was nice as well and everybody was friendly.

Room we were eventually allocated( fault of Booking.com) .again the terrace we booked , eventually was huge and private.. seemed to be all new.Half board was excellent…. Choice always…… local produce… portion size huge.Private parking excellentOverall , brilliant value for money and a central location for touring Southern Salento.

I was very well received, friendly staff, the room was spotless, I had a really good time, the only complaint I can make is that the bed base was too noisy
