Very quiet, good location for walks

It was good to be able to pre order food - which was very tasty - compared to some of the other locations we stayed in the mea was expensive.

Atmospheric manor in a quiet rural setting. Good wifi, Good shower. Nice park around it. Tasteful breakfast (it was a lot :-)). Nice hostess, speaks good English. It was a very pleasant stay. I loved reading a book at the balcony, or taking a stroll through the park. Unfortunately I hadn't got enough time to stay a bit longer.

Amazing property in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful, cozy room, super clean, amazing breakfast- best I have had. Recommend :)

The vibe of the old manor leaves an unbelievable impression. Rooms are just refurbished and very comfortable. Also the breakfast was out of this world. This was indeed a very memorable experience. There is pond where you can swim, there is a playground for children.

Absolutely lovely historic manor well renovated in rural Latvia next to our biggest river - Daugava. They have their own little garden where they grow produce, they have chickens laying eggs - all of that goes on to the table for breakfast and dinner. The food was very good and natural.

We forgot to apply insect reppelant before taking a hike through the woods - big mistake! Otherwise all was perfect!

The whole experience together was amazing! Hosts were warm and very welcoming. Property was clean, all needed was provided. Breakfast was tasty!

Everything! The decor of the manor, the rooms and the restaurant were all brilliantly appointed. It felt like we were in a Latvian fairytale. The hotel hosts were really accommodating and friendly. Dinner was tasty, but Breakfast was awesome!!!Absolute must is to try their beer. We enjoyed their new Gose beer with Himalayan Pink Salt and Coriander

Nothing. Road to the Hotel was quite dark and bumpy/unpaved but as for the hotel, we had a really great stay. Just be aware that the bathrooms turn on/off the light through motion sensor, otherwise, have fun!!!

Very relaxing and atmospheric stay in old manor. The interior with old times wibes, hosts has kept as match authentic pieces and details as possible. Very nice garden, with several spots to explore, a river just over backyard. The room was comfortable, very delicious local food. The hosts are very kind. I arrived quite late, and kitchen was closing already, but I got a freshly made gaspacho :) and be ready to listen a rooster ringtone around 6 am, right from backyard :) Definitely a place to return!

Overall staying was very pleasant, it was at cold winter night but inside was more than warm. Very comfortable, hosts welcomed us as long time friends and even we check in quite late, we was welcome.

Located in a very beautiful place, close to the river, with lots of activities for everyone

A very calm place where to escape from a daily routine. Peaceful. Hosts were nice and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were perfect. Very tasty. Our family enjoyed the stay. 10/10

A quiet place in the country side, good for having the rest. One can find the staying in this place a bit overpriced (mostly due to the location). Though, the owners have purchased a couple of years ago and have invested heavily to make this place guest friendly / have given a new life the to old building - therefore the price factor is ok. The owners have paid attention also to the surrounding area.The interior in certain aspects could look rustic, though conditions for staying are very good. Hopefully the owners will have enough patience/funding to make this place superior.

There are some tiny stylish details (like the towels are different colour /size) that would look different in large hotels, but that doesn't have any functional impact.
